Did You Know...

... that there is a horse race for the last Top 10 slot?

Tied in 10th place: a.team4way
posted Apr 6th, 2013 - The top teams are settling in their positions on the second day of the meet. XL's goal to move up to the money slots (Top 4) had to take a blow in Round 7 where the four teams in those slots all delivered well and added points to the difference.

However, there is a horse race going on for the last spot in the Top 10. The Qatar Tigers seemed to own the 9th place and have now been chased down by a.team4way and Dubai Asaar Black. Both teams tied in 10th place are only two points behind Qatar's national 4way team, and none of the three teams is safe yet for the honor of making the Top 10.

The NSL News followed a.team4way on the way to Round 7. The three contenders for the 10th place tied their scores with 26-pointers.

Round 7
Flying with a broken left ankle: Sven Ibens
Thunder is keeping up with XL and still has a 3-point lead over SportLoto. The Russian team won a point back in Round 7.

Center Inside Sven Ibens is competing with a broken ankle and has not said a word about it. He was playing hide and seek with his son in the woods and stumbled over a root. Not enough to hold him back from competing with Thunder...

Aerokart Deep Blue keeps warming up round by round and has moved away from the other female 4way teams. The 23.4 average after Round 7 would now easily make the Top 10 in the Open Class. Polaris fended off one more time the charging UK team Kaizen. Both teams are still separated by one single point.
