NSL News Coverage of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2024

Did You Know...

... that Nathan Polis features Hayabusa's sole highscore in Round 2?

Nathan Polis with his father and grandfather in Maubeuge
posted Sep 16th, 2008 - The NSL News audience probably remembers Nathan Polis who helped to bring the World Meet 2008 action and events as close as possible to the on-line visitors at the NSL website.

Nathan Polis collected a lot of footage at the World Meet 2008, and there was no way to use it all for the NSL News coverage.

Now he followed up on his work for the NSL News in Maubeuge with one of his own pieces, which features his favorite team, Hayabusa Defence.

The NSL News coverage of the FAI World Meet 2008 is brought to you with the help of:
Interview with Hayabusa in Maubeuge
Yes, he is from Belgium, and he never left a doubt that he is a Hayabusa fan. The Belgian national 4-way team "only" won the bronze medals from Nathan Polis' perspective. He surely would have liked to see his team on the very top of the leaderboard.

However, there will probably be another opportunity in two years. Hayabusa Defence continues and has already begun with the preparations. The new team member, Waedong So, has already been with the team for a while and was the official Hayabusa alternate in Maubeuge. Nathan Polis will have to count on him and the new lineup in 2010...

Hayabusa Defence of the past and the future
For the Hayabusa clip, which has now been uploaded for the NSL-TV audience, his camera followed the lineup of the World Meet 2008 for one jump from the very beginning to the very end. He picked Round 2 for this special feature, which is no surprise.

It was the best round for Hayabusa, the only one where the Belgian team had the sole highscore for a round with a 33-pointer.

He filmed the team on the creeper pad, on the way to the plane, followed by the actual skydive and the scenes after landing from Round 2. The Hayabusa members knew that they had a good round, they were in great spirits after gathering in the landing area. The Belgian team was now in second place, and Nathan Polis was a happy camper...

Thanks again to the young man from Belgium and his supportive family for the great work for the NSL News audience in Maubeuge. Enjoy the special Hayabusa feature, presented by Nathan Polis and Hayabusa videographer Danny Jacobs.
