News Article Did you know that Airspeed had a few words for the NSL audience after the 8-way victory?
posted: Oct 27th, 2005 The 8-way competition ended on the highest level of performance. The very last jump of the 8-way competition was probably the best skydive of the whole meet. Arizona Airspeed boarded the plane alone, just as throughout the whole competition. Team number 805 put Airspeed at the end of the jump order from the very beginning, and it remained the same way when the jump order was adjusted according to the current rankings. Deguello and Italy shared a load, while Russia and France jumped from the same plane. Airspeed had the whole plane without company. The pressure was on in round ten after France... (more)
News Article Did you know that Dan BC provided his view on Thursday morning?
posted: Oct 27th, 2005 The 8-way competition has heated up this morning. Obviously, France has won back two points in round nine, and it is only a 1-point difference between Airspeed and France going into the last round. The NSL News used the morning hours to sit down with Dan BC for an interview. He predicted that it is almost easier for a team to be shortly behind rather than being in the lead. He explained the logic of this theory in the interview. He also thought that Airspeed would be experienced enough to deal with the challenge. The French team took advantage of the situation coming from behind and might... (more)

posted: Oct 26th, 2005 The NSL News found DeLand Majik member and current 4-way world champion Solly Williams at the end of the competition day working with the Russian Lady Birds. The NSL News had to wait a few minutes until he had completed the preparations for tomorrow, and it was well worth it. Solly Williams kindly took the time to provide the summary of Wednesday's events for the NSL News audience. He had followed all events and was well prepared for an accurate evaluation of the current situation at the FAI World Cup 2005 in Eloy. News Article Did you know that Airspeed Odyssey leaves the 4-way field in the dust?
posted: Oct 26th, 2005 The 4-way Open competition has also found its best team in the world at the moment. Nobody really questions after the completion of six rounds that Airspeed Odyssey with Eliana Rodriguez, Craig Girard, Andy Delk, Brian Johnson and Will Pesek on camera will win the competition. Odyssey has posted the highest scores in each round except round two, and it would be no surprise if it continued that way. The Airspeed team is in the middle of a dream competition, which reminds on the performance of the French 4-way team Maubeuge in Gap 2003, the Golden Knights at the USPA Nationals in 2002 or DeLand... News Article Did you know that the Lady Birds quietly continue with their progression?
posted: Oct 25th, 2005 The competition in the 4-way Women category has offered the tight competition as it was hoped for. It seemed like it would be the expected 2-way race between Perris Synchronicity and France LaPalisse/Maubeuge throughout the first day of 4-way competition on Monday. These two teams were tied after three rounds. However, the Russian Lady Birds had already caught the NSL News attention earlier after they had moved slowly and quietly closer to the top level of the all-female 4-way competition in the world. The Russian team was only three points behind USA and France at the end of the first day,... (more)
