News Article Did you know that round five of the FSL April meet is now on NSL-TV?
posted: Apr 29th, 2006 The Florida Skydiving League has now caught up on NSL-TV with round five of the April meet in Lake Wales. The video files have been uploded and are available for reviews. The competition in the AAA/Open Class had settled at that time of the 6-round meet. The DeLand Brits, the British Army team, had created a comfortable lead over Teiwaz Lake Wales. However, the FSL team offered UK's national team for 2006 enough competition to keep the visitors from the United Kingdom alert, while they were heading toward a new team record average. (more)
News Article Did you know that Elsinore Gravity and Thunder were tied again after round five?
posted: Apr 28th, 2006 NSL-TV is back after a short break and resumes with round five of the Southwest Skydiving League's April meet. The horse race between Elsinore Gravity and Thunder in the AAA/Open Class continued as seen before. This time, Thunder was one point behind after round four and managed to eliminate the deficit in round five. The sequence was again on the faster side (J-P-C-3), however, these two AAA/Open Class teams were locked into each other and did not let go. News Article Did you know that skydivers will "Jump for Children" in Germany this June?
posted: Apr 27th, 2006 The management of the World Meet 2006 this summer in Germany has already started a PR campaign that will direct public attention to the event in Gera. The NSL News story on April 1 mentioned that the first efforts were on the way, supervised by a professional PR agency. "Jump for Children 2006" is one part of this PR campaign and was initiated to use the momentum of the World Meet's media activities for a good purpose. The event management provided the NSL News with an official press release, which introduces the event. (more)
News Article Did you know that the results from Carolina complete last weekend's scoreboard?
posted: Apr 26th, 2006 The scoreboard of last weekend's events in Texas and Carolina is now complete. 16 teams competed in three competition classes, and the AA/Intermediate Class was the most popular one with a total of nine teams. Three teams of the Texas Skydiving League had the whole AAA/Open Class for themselves, and Dallas Thunder won with a 15.5 meet average. (more)
News Article Did you know that Skydive City showed ZT a Mal4mation in round four?
posted: Apr 25th, 2006 Round four of the Florida Skydiving League April meet is now available on NSL-TV. This round had a few special aspects on its own. It was the only round of that weekend's competition draw where the sequences of AAA/Open Class and AA/Intermediate Class were identical. (more)
News Article Did you know that Round 4 of the SSL April meet brings a new judging quiz?
posted: Apr 24th, 2006 Round 4 of the Southwest Skydiving League April meet has been uploaded while the scores of the Texas Skydiving League's season opener have been posted this morning. The NSL News will follow up with more information from Texas as soon as possible and is waiting for the scores from the Carolina Skydiving League's first 2006 meet last weekend. The NSL News story of round three mentioned that Elsinore Gravity and Thunder finally broke their tied scores in the fast sequence of round three, even though both teams had completed the same number of scoring formations within working time.
