Did you know that the new French Weembi Girls created a 16-point cushion for the "French Mission Impossible"? posted: Oct 15th, 2019 One of the major components of Mathieu Bernier's master plan to win two sets of FAI gold medals next year in Tanay has been his national team in 4-way Women.
He used the time after last year's outdoor world meet in Australia and the beginning of the following indoor competition season to create this challenging master plan how France could get the most out of the current situation after missing the 8-way competition in Australia.
He announced his plan in January this year, and the NSL News has covered the new "French Mission Impossible" with several updates ever since.

Did you know that the four U.S. teams created the first 4-way Open Class world cup sweep? posted: Oct 14th, 2019 The 4-way Open Class re-match between Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP had a completely different outcome compared to the USPA Nationals. The second 4-way duel within three weeks never even progressed into a serious competition for the 1st place at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2019.
Airspeed on home turf was a different team and ran away from all other teams, including the new U.S. 4-way champion. The slower competition draw did not allow any of the participating U.S. teams to copy or get close to the meet averages that they had shown at Skydive Paraclete XP in September.

Did you know that Mathieu Bernier succeeded with the first phase of his master plan? posted: Oct 13th, 2019 He did not even compete at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2019, and he is still one of the winners after the conclusion of the event with the award ceremony on Saturday evening.
Mathieu Bernier has successfully completed the first part of his plan to win two gold medals at the next FAI World Meet 2020 in Tanay, Russia. He did not take two sets of gold medals back to France this time. However, his 4-way Women team won and left the British challenger NFTO further behind than expected, and the 8-way team left after a very strong statement in Eloy.
The French 8-way team did not win, while they were... (more)

SDC Core defended the world's top spot successfully without any trouble. Russia's Vertical Flystation added the team's first outdoor FAI silver medals to the indoor ones that they won at the FAI Indoor World Meet this year.

Did you know that Brianne Thompson has the Fun Flag and pursues two bronze medals in Eloy? posted: Oct 10th, 2019 The Fun Flag had its first showing during the opening ceremony of the FAI Outdoor World Cup, as the NSL News reported yesterday. The Norwegian VFS team Blue Pelican had shown it during the opening ceremony on Monday and then kept it hidden on Tuesday.
They received the yellow card for the violation of the Fun Flag rules, even though team member Derek Nordlund Broughton said that his team simply forgot to bring the flag to Skydive Arizona in the morning. However, Blue Pelican followed up, and they were on their way to letting it fly again on Wednesday when the next party took possession of it.

Did you know that Joey Jones and the Fun Flag filled the wind hold time with updates? posted: Oct 9th, 2019 The FAI Outdoor World Cup was on a wind hold on Wednesday just when the 4-way teams had completed their 6th round. Meet director Brian Byrke at least accomplished his first goal, which was the 6th round in 4-way.
The previous NSL Reality TV video clip had included a time when Bryan Burke addressed teams in the loading area with advice for the increasingly challenging weather conditions. The first dust devils were whirling around the Skydive Arizona facilities and needed to be watched for safety reasons. Eventually, they appeared too frequently, and Bryan Burke put the whole meet on a wind hold.
