Did you know that Perris Fury extends the team project to the United Kingdom? posted: Jan 3rd, 2008 The last Perris Fury update on 10 December 2007 included the mention of the "Fury Free Week" during the Perris Valley Skydiving Holiday Boogie. The event featured free coaching for a full week from various members of the world-class team from Perris.
It was the second year that Perris Fury has offered free coaching during the winter holiday. The team reported a successful event at the right time: "As well as adding excitement to an already festive boogie, it has proven to be a great way for Fury to thank local customers and welcome visitors in the holiday spirit."

Did you know that Bodyflight Storm sent Christmas greetings from the UK? posted: Dec 27th, 2007 The last update of the Bodyflight Storm situation after winning the UK Nationals 2007 was posted on 26 November 2007. The new British national 4-way team in the Open Class had completed a windtunnel training camp in Bedford, together with Perris Fury. The camp included 2-on-2 sessions with members of both teams flying together.
The NSL News was hoping to get some video footage of this training camp, and these videos are still in the works. However, Storm's Claire "Sparky" Scott already followed up with new team information before the arrival of the Fury-Storm videos.

Did you know that California builds teams for the 2008 season? posted: Dec 10th, 2007 Perris Valley Skydiving, host of the California Skydiving League, once again organized its annual team-building workshop over the Thanksgiving weekend.
This event introduces the idea that jumping with a regular group of people (called "team"...) is the best way to continue to learn and improve skydiving skills. Whether individuals had plans of competing or not - this event helps jumpers to find new teammates and friends to jump with during the upcoming season.

Did you know that the Fury Bloopers video includes a painful collision? posted: Dec 4th, 2007 New video footage arrived from the west coast. Perris Fury once again updated the NSL News with the latest information of the team's activities. The footage included 2007 videos of Fury's 8-way project teams. It also had a part where Fury shows some of the 2007 team bloopers.
This video came with a thank-you note to helmet manufacturer Sky Systems, and there was a good reason to combine the video with a message of appreciation. Did you know that Perris Fury's rear piece has mastered the first slot switchers? posted: Nov 29th, 2007 The NSL News story on 1 November 2007 broke the news that Perris Fury committed to two/three more years with the same line-up. The training efforts for the new time period began with a tunnel camp in Bedford this month.
The Perris Fury members explained in the live interview for the NSL News that the team will change the continuity plan and mainly retire the mirror images. Instead, both pieces will accept memory and slot switchers in the future, as most of the top teams have already applied this concept.

Did you know that the United Kingdom Skydiving League (UKSL) invites teams to visit in 2008? posted: Nov 28th, 2007 Great Britain is taking its 4-way competition series to the next level. Chris Hollis, Formation Skydiving representative of the British Parachute Association (BPA), recently informed the NSL News that he has new plans for the future of Formation Skydiving competition in his country.
The British "Grand Prix" event series of 4-way and 8-way competitions has already been around for a while. The first registered events and scores go back to the 2003 season.
