Did you know that the Perris Blitz lineup is complete? posted: Feb 9th, 2011 The NSL News reported on 7 December 2010 that Perris Fury had decided to extend the team project. Plan was to put together a second team with the goal of competing at a high level in the AAA/Open Class.
The same story had reported tryouts at Perris Valley Skydiving for the open slots. The first two committed members, Flemming Andersen and Kris Peterson, had already made the move to California to form the team and were looking for two more members and a videographer. The search is over now, Perris Blitz has been formed, and the training has started.

Skydive University organizes a 4-Way Scrambles Skills Camp in DeLand, while SDC Rhythm XP members will be player coaches at the next Team For A Day in Sebastian. (more)
Did you know that NSL-TV presents Block 13 from the judging perspective? posted: Feb 7th, 2011 It's all been said and done, and most importantly shown, at the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011. Paraclete XP4 finished in 2nd place, as the audience forecasted at the time of the meet. Perris Fury was not in 3rd place, and the Golden Knights took that slot. However, Fury's performance does not really count, as last year's USPA silver medalist competed with alternate John Hamilton in the Tail slot.

Did you know that Block 13's forward technique won 3 - 2 in Round 6? posted: Feb 5th, 2011 The judges have caught up to Round 6, which is also the next NSL-TV video, while most of the 4-way teams are now competing in 8-way.
The NSL News mentioned earlier that the sequence of Round 6 will get special attention, as it includes the new version of Block 13, Offset - Spinner. Only two of the five US top teams rotated the center piece backwards (Arizona Airspeed and Perris Fury). Paraclete XP4, Golden Knights Gold and SDC Rhythm XP had the center piece spin forwards.
Airspeed and Fury members had strong reasons why they decided to rotate backwards. Thomas Hughes explained on Facebook:... (more)

The competition takes place in three different time zones. The teams have completed Round 6 and get ready for Round 7. The new video features Round 5, while the judges are finishing up with the scoring of Round 3.
Round 5 was one of the fastest sequences in the competition draw of the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011. It is very difficult to follow and evaluate the sequence accurately from the eye level. The judges have the only video angle that makes it possible at all to see everything. However, it is still...
