News Article Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP might be much closer than expected to USPA medal positions?
posted: Oct 21st, 2011 The USPA Nationals 2011 are only a week away, and the NSL News will focus more and more on the next major event of the 2011 season. Top subject is apparently not the question who will win the meet. However, there are more than enough other interesting aspects of the upcoming competition. The NSL News took another closer look at the last results of the NSL Poll that is now looking more at the teams who will be in contention for the silver and bronze medals, as Arizona Airspeed seems to be the winner of the gold medals before the meet has even started. The latest results still show Paraclete XP4... (more)
News Article Did you know that the new USPA Open Class poll shows much better results?
posted: Oct 16th, 2011 The NSL News realized quickly that the poll question that came with the story on 12 October 2011 was not realistic. Arizona Airspeed is the sole top contender for the gold medals at the USPA Nationals 2011, and the other four US top teams are only competing for silver and bronze. That is at least the situation that the audience expects to see at the end of the month. The question needed to be asked in a different way, and the new results show more and better. The "other" four teams seem to be closer to Airspeed now, which still does not reflect the truth. Airspeed is still as far ahead as before... (more)
News Article Did you know that the USPA 4way Open Class Poll had the wrong question?
posted: Oct 14th, 2011 Okay, it was not the correct question. There does not seem to be a doubt who will win the USPA Nationals 2011 in the 4way Open Class competition. Arizona Airspeed was written all over the poll results that the NSL News included with the story on 12 October 2011. The question and the poll has now been defined differently to make it more interesting for the audience. The new poll, which is also open at the 4way Open Class page of the USPA Nationals 2011 coverage, allows the voter to pick the three teams who will be in the medal positions at the end of the meet. The same five teams are the available... (more)
News Article Did you know that Arizona Airspeed is still the USPA top contender in 4way?
posted: Oct 12th, 2011 The NSL News has recently given the World Cup 2011 a lot of attention, and there were more than enough reasons for that. The coverage is not over yet, especially as the videos of Round 10 in the 4way Open Class are still to come. Unfortunately, the coverage did not include much of the US 4way competition at all since no team competed in the 4way Open Class. This leaves out a big part of the 4way world where US teams are always in contention for top positions. Only the Golden Knights competed for the USA in 8way and in the female 4way category in Germany. One of the best US 4way teams was... (more)
News Article Did you know that Southern California outscored Florida easily last weekend?
posted: Oct 1st, 2011 Five teams from Southern California competed together with four teams from Florida last weekend, while nine teams have launched this weekend's competition of the Northern Plains Skydiving League. The teams in Perris last weekend outscored the teams in Florida. The NPSL teams are alone this weekend, as no other meets are scheduled. The FSL teams at Skydive Miami last weekend had the A Class competition for themselves, while Teiwaz South and Miami Dropouts had to put up with the SCSL teams and had no chance. Perris Air Rush outscored Teiwaz South with a 13.5 average in the AAA Class, and... (more)
News Article Did you know that Andy Honigbaum has great plans for the CASL 2012 season?
posted: Sep 18th, 2011 Two of the three Golden Knights lineups attended the August meet of the Carolina Skydiving League shortly after coming back from Germany where the female team and the Black lineup had competed at the World Cup 2011. Golden Knights Gold members were coaching and judging at the same event. The last CASL meet of the 2011 season was hosted by the Raeford Parachute Center last weekend, and now it was time for the Gold lineup to put the first 4way outdoor scores on a leaderboard this year. The focus of the US Army team was on 8way this year, which worked out very well after bringing home the 8way... (more)
