Did you know that only two teams scored higher than 14.0 since 2002? posted: Oct 18th, 2017 The value of the 14.0 winning average that Vega XP posted at the USPA Nationals 2017 becomes more obvious after taking a closer look at the results in this category since it was introduced at USPA Nationals. Only two Intermediate Class teams have ever posted higher 10-round averages, Formula 4 (14.1) in 2002 and the Impulse team of the Air Force Academy (14.6) in 2010.
DeLand Tunnel Rage finished the 6-round competition with a 15.3 average in 2000. However, USPA applied a different dive pool at that time, which was identical with the current A Class of the National Skydiving League. The easier... (more)
Did you know that Airspeed Odyssey had a successful and competitive reunion? posted: Sep 27th, 2017 The 4-way competition at the USPA Nationals 2017 was completed in the early afternoon on Tuesday, and everything went back to 4-way business as usual after a thrilling start.
It was still a 1-point battle between Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm XP at the end of the first day and after seven rounds. Rhythm had really scared Airspeed on Monday, and everything was possible with three remaining rounds. It was only the first round on Tuesday morning that the challenger really gave away, and it was enough for Airspeed to carry the next 4-way title over the finish line with a 6-point advantage.

Airspeed is neither traveling to Bedford nor to the... (more)
