Did you know that Rookie Class competed while the world class teams trained in Prostejov? posted: Aug 24th, 2014 The scores of five Rookie Class teams are currently posted on last weekend's leaderboard, while the best 4-way teams in the world are getting ready for Round 1 of the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 in Prostejov, where Round 1 is scheduled for Tuesday morning.
Once again, the Rookie Class teams gave each other a great competition, and it is a battle between the Northwest and the Southern Skydiving League so far. The Top 3 teams are separated by two points, and more Rookie Class scores may be added from Northern California and Carolina.

Did you know that Sarah Smith might complete a 7-year stretch of attendance at FAI/IPC world events this year? posted: May 8th, 2014 It is nothing new that the female competitors in the United Kingdom have been playing a very strong role in 4way Formation Skydiving competition for many years. The scores on the combined leaderboard of the World Challenge 2014 provide more evidence that this has not changed.
There is even the potential for an unprecedented situation in the United Kingdom this year. Two female lineups may represent the country at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving this year, if Satori decides to stay home after winning the UK Nationals last year.

Did you know that XL and the Fun Flag are not directly connected? posted: Apr 3rd, 2014 The last update from the World Challenge 2014 at Bodyflight Bedford on Thursday features the most important part of the indoor competition - the actual flying part in the 16-foot tunnel chamber.
The official training sessions for all teams began at 5:00 PM, and the latest NSL-TV clip presents a colorful mixture of teams who participate at this year's event, starting at Rookie Class newcomer HF Chicks from the Czech Republic, including Dynamic 2way performances, and finishing with the famous XL warmup sequences.

Did you know that the Fun Flag police expects a new showing at the World Challenge? posted: Apr 1st, 2014 The 4way competition world was in good order and in good health until the World Cup 2013 in Banja Luka. Exciting events have followed last year and in 2014, including national championships and international meets, but the atmosphere has not been the same.
There is a sad reason for the lack of fun spirits at the hosting drop zones and wind tunnels of the bigger meets: The Fun Flag has not been flying since August 2013.
The last Fun Flag update was published by the Sun Path Products NSL News on 11 October 2013, which only recalled earlier Fun Flag activities in Dubai 2012 and Banja Luka 2013.... (more)
Did you know that there was also traffic from the United Kingdom to Ireland this year? posted: Oct 11th, 2013 The Sun Path Products NSL News has covered a few times this year how teams from Ireland and Northern Ireland crossed the Irish Sea to compete at meets in the United Kingdom, including the World Challenge indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford.
Fly Wild from Northern Ireland even won the Rookie Class competition at the UK Nationals, as the story on 5 September 2013 reported. Teams from Ireland competed in each of the four categories at the World Challenge 2013.

Did you know that UK teams are in control of the Fun Flag and the leaderboards? posted: Aug 16th, 2013 The Fun Flag has made the the headlines of the Sun Path Products NSL News once so far, when UK team Eclipse came forward with an update. The flag has changed its location several times since arrival, and the UK delegation has been heavily involved.
One of the spots was a tricky location. The flag was not really flying, even though it was in closest range of all teams and competitors at the DZ of Banja Luka. Eclipse members had positioned it in a little control tower right next to the boarding area where it was for quite a while.
