Did you know that the Fun Flag seems to be in German hands? posted: Sep 10th, 2015 Mike Pennock's plan worked out perfectly for the third day of the FAI World Cup 2015, and the Formation Skydiving competition teams are exactly at the point where they were expected to be at the end of the day. That's according to the number of competition jumps, not necessarily according to the expected rankings and scoring levels...

Did you know that the Fun Flag is in French possession at the FAI World Cup 2015? posted: Sep 7th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News has successfully transitioned from Saarlouis and the German Nationals 2015 to Teuge and the FAI World Cup 2015.
The event in Germany was concluded with the award ceremony on Saturday evening, and the opening ceremony in the Netherlands took place at a small castle near the skydiving center of Teuge on Monday evening.
Henny Wiggers flew in the Dutch flag to a very small target where a reception followed the official opening ceremony.

Did you know that the judges had a "soft acquisition" for the first Fun Flag possession in history? posted: Aug 30th, 2014 The FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 has arrived at the last day of competition.
The weather situation is critical and not very stabil, while there are a few more rounds to be completed.
The FAI Jury accepted a requst by the host in Prostejov to extend the schedule by an hour to possibly complete all competition rounds. It has become a race against the time.
The weather cooperated well in the earlier hours of the morning, and there is a good chance for the completion of the meet.

Did you know that Round 4 might bring a new 8-way world record? posted: Aug 25th, 2014 The last day before the start of the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 went by with beautiful weather and was concluded with the competition draw after the opening ceremony.
It was once again a manual live draw by the judges in front of the teams and competitors. The atmosphere was stirred up a bit when Round 4 was drawn. The sequence did not get the 4-way teams too excited, however, the 8-way teams were showing some emotions.
The sequence of Round 4 is the fastest one that has been drawn in a long time. It could be a training sequence for an 8-way team that wants to practice... (more)
Did you know that Russian 8-way world champions of 2003 are back together in 4-way? posted: Aug 25th, 2014 It is only a few hours away from the competition draw for the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 in Prostejov, Czech Republic.
The teams are done with the last training jumps, and the next time the planes get in the air it will be for the scoring points. There have been quite a few changes in the lineups, and the Sun Path Products NSL News can cover at least a few of them.
The new lineup of the Austrian national team was mentioned earlier and is competing under the name Final Edition. Vision 99 is at the competition site, and the XL reunion with John McIver and Steve Hamilton... (more)
