posted: May 25th, 2009 The scores from France were the first ones arriving at the NSL headquarters. IPC Delegate and 1st Vice-President Gillian Winter, who was also the Chief Judge of the first Coupe de France 2009 competition, provided the scores and additional information. She reported that the host used three jump planes, a Casa, a Pilatus Porter and a Twin Otter. The weather was in favor of the competition, and the French teams completed all rounds well in time. News Article Did you know that Sebastian Tempest members are responsible for this weekend's competition draw?
posted: May 23rd, 2009 The videos of Rounds 5 and 6 of the Florida Skydiving League meet last weekend in Sebastian wrap up the coverage of this event. The first four rounds were already part of the NSL News stories on 16 May 2009 and 18 May 2009. The FSL Rookie Class teams caught most of the attention, and the only AAA Class team in Sebastian, home team Tempest, posted a 13.8 average almost unnoticed. By the way: the teams of the Colorado Skydiving League have now been added to last weekend's leaderboard, as well, and another Rookie Class team joined the competition. News Article Did you know that the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2009 features the same Top 3 as in 2008?
posted: May 22nd, 2009 The next opportunity for the rest of the world to beat the Airspeed 4-way world champions is coming up in June. It will be another indoor competition where Eliana Rodriguez, Craig Girard, Mark Kirkby and Andy Delk will try to defend their 17 - 0 winning streak. The 17th victory came with £5,000 at the World Challenge 2009. The Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championship 2009 on the June 13 weekend offers $6,500 for the winner of the Open Class competition. News Article Did you know that Joey Jones reports current activities from Europe?
posted: May 21st, 2009 The NSL News has received a lot of information and insights from Joey Jones, former World Cup and World Meet champion with Space Center FX and DeLand Majik, over the years. Joey Jones is now a full-time coach and still always ready to update the NSL News in his lively and energetic style. He has recently been working with Belgian's national team Hayabusa Defence and Sweden's national team Evolution. Both teams competed at the World Challenge 2009. Hayabusa's ten tunnel rounds were already a part of the NSL YouTube TV coverage of the Top 12 in Bedford. Evolution's ten rounds have now been uploaded... (more)
News Article Did you know that teams from the United Kingdom are ready for the upcoming multi-event weekend?
posted: May 20th, 2009 The events of the 2009 season have already provided a lot of information, scores, videos and photos, even though it has not even been in full swing yet. It seems as if the upcoming weekend will finally be the real season opener. Ten different 4-way competitions will take place at ten different locations in six different countries. France, Italy, Norway, Czech Republic and United Kingdom kick off their 2009 season with the first outdoor meet of the year. News Article Did you know that Thomas Hughes explains his 2009 agenda filled with many different activities?
posted: May 19th, 2009 The NSL News story on 18 May 2009 mentioned that an interview with Spaceland Force member Thomas Hughes was in the works. The story was related to the FSL May meet where Sebastian Tempest completed the team's third competition of the 2009 season, and Thomas Hughes is the team's coach. He was not live on competition site in Sebastian, as he was getting ready for a Spaceland Force tunnel camp at Paraclete XP in Raeford, where he also attended a swooping competiton last weekend.
