News Article Did you know that the new Sebastian Tempest lineup had to master a tough competition draw?
posted: Apr 21st, 2009 The NSL News story on 28 February 2009 had already reported a personnel change for Sebastian Tempest lineup. The team's Center Outside of 2008, Ari Perelman, did not continue with Tempest, and Gilles Dutrisac took his slot. The same story mentioned that it would be a challenging situation for the new Tempest member, who moved up from a 12.1 average with FSC Wind Damaged in the AA Class to a 17-average level team in the AAA Class. posted: Apr 20th, 2009 The coverage of the World Challenge 2009 continues with the judging videos of Round 6. It was the beginning of the second event day when the teams entered Bodyflight Bedford's flying chamber for Round 6. The drama of rounds four (Perris Fury's 59-pointer) and five (Airspeed's comeback) was history, and the top teams were eager to challenge the reigning 4-way world champions with fresh energy. One of the top challengers was the indoor lineup of XL. Actually, the 2009 lineup was not really only an indoor lineup, as the XL lineups of 2008 and 2007 have been. News Article Did you know that the teams from Denmark practiced Skyvan exits for their national championship?
posted: Apr 18th, 2009 The 6-round competition in DeLand was completed early on Saturday. The two teams from Denmark, Sequence and Altius, will finish up with the remaining four rounds on Sunday, as they wanted to go through the whole dive pool for training purposes. Altius had competed in the AA Class at the World Challenge 2009 and now moved up into the AAA Class where they will compete at Denmark's national championship this year. News Article Did you know that Team Future went from last to 1st place within a year?
posted: Apr 17th, 2009 The NSL News has more eye candy for the valued audience, and the video is already available on NSL YouTube TV. Can you remember last year's World Challenge 2009? Team Future, with 11-year old Kayla Tinucci and her 8-year old brother Justin, competed both in 4-way and Freeflying, finished in last place of the AA Class competition and took the 6th place in the 2-way artistic event. Bodyflight Bedford was the place where the NSL News met the Tinucci siblings for the first time in person. News Article Did you know that Round 5 changed the whole competition at the World Challenge 2009?
posted: Apr 16th, 2009 Airspeed came back with vengeance in Round 5. The NSL News covered the incredible recovery jump of the reigning 4-way world champions already early in the morning of the second day at the World Challenge 2009. The story on 5 April 2009 explained what had happened at the end of the first event day. It was a special treat for the audience in Bedford to see how Airspeed all of a sudden picked up the pace when trailing Perris Fury by one point after Round 4. News Article Did you know that DiZturbia has launched a 4-way project at Skydive City?
posted: Apr 15th, 2009 A new all-female 4-way team has formed at Skydive City in Zephyrhills, Florida. Jaime Cruce, Christine Freiherr, Sarah Knipling and Laura Song have joined forces to represent Skydive City this year at the Florida Skydiving League meets and advance 4-way fun and competition in Z-Hills. The team is called DiZturbia and will post the first scores this weekend at the second FSL meet of the regular season in DeLand. The team has already scheduled other 4-way activities at Skydive City for the 2009 season, the next one on April 26. (more)
