A Norwegian competitor directed special attention to Round 8 of the Norwegian world class 4-way team Arcteryx. He pointed out that Arcteryx member Ole Petter Hjelle in the Tail slot loses his helmet in the heat of the competition action.

Did you know that Thomas Hughes competed in both World Challenge 2009 events? posted: Apr 26th, 2009 The NSL News reported on 17 April 2009 that Team Future's siblings, Kayla and Justin Tinucci, competed in both 4-way and Freeflying competitions at the World Challenge 2009. The NSL YouTube TV video in the same story featured the flying kids in both events.
Kayla and Justin Tinucci were not the only competitors switching back and forth between 4-way and Freeflying this time. Thomas Hughes, who competed with XL at the tunnel competition, must have been inspired after watching the Tinucci siblings last year in Bedford.

Did you know that 4-way teams from Z-Hills create momentum in Florida? posted: Apr 24th, 2009 Rounds five and six of the FSL April meet wrap up the NSL-TV coverage of the event. All competition jumps are now available for reviews on YouTube, as the videos are embedded in the related meet stories.
The April meet was the first competition for the new DiZturbia lineup from Skydive City in Z-Hills that the NSL News already introduced with the story on 15 April 2009. DiZturbia enjoyed the meet in DeLand despite the challenges of the AAA Class dive pool, as Center Inside Laura Song explained:

Did you know that Hayabusa Defence seems to be on the right track? posted: Apr 23rd, 2009 The World Challenge 2009 was already the second indoor competition for Hayabusa Defence this year.
The NSL News posted the scores of the Aerokart Indoor Challenge 2009 at the end of February.
The story on 6 March 2009 provided feedback directly from the Belgian national 4-way team after the meet in Paris, France.
Hayabusa won the bronze medals at last year's World Meet in Maubeuge, France, and had a personnel change at the end of the 2008 season.

Did you know that a new Elsinore lineup will defend the home turf this weekend? posted: Apr 22nd, 2009 The 2009 season gets another opening kick this weekend.
Valentine's Meet, FSL Shamrock Showdown and World Challenge have already given the new competition season a lot of momentum, and the Florida Skydiving League even followed up with the second meet last weekend.
This weekend, two of the strongest leagues in the country, the Southern California Skydiving League and the Carolina Skydiving League, join the 2009 action and will add even more excitement to the great start.
