Did you know that Dallas Rogue members help their Fusion 8-way friends? posted: Jun 9th, 2009 The NSL News story on 2 May 2009 introduced the new 8-way team from Skydive Dallas, Dallas Rogue. The lineup consists of Ron Hill, Jim Rees, Ben Liston, Brian Stephens, Scott Latinis, Rodney Cruce, Dave Burton and Ari Perelman.
It is a group of very experienced and talented 4-way and 8-way competitors who will try this year to get as close as possible to the 8-way top contenders, Arizona Airspeed, Paraclete XP and Golden Knights. There are chances that Dallas Rogue might even challenge the top contenders seriously at the USPA Nationals.

Did you know that a mystery team from China dominated the AA Class competition on May 23? posted: Jun 8th, 2009 The NSL News goes back to the record meet weekend on May 23 - 24 where a total of 86 teams had their scores posted on the NSL leaderboard.
Seven teams of the Southern California Skydiving League competed in three different competition classes that weekend in Perris. Only the Rookie Class did not have any participation at all this time. The only SCSL Rookie Class team at the first meet in Elsinore, PACK'D, followed through with the team's plan to move up into the A Class at the next meet.

Did you know that Texas is back with Havoc? posted: Jun 6th, 2009 Last weekend's scores are still on the leaderboard, while teams in Austria and Germany are working on new numbers this weekend.
It was a very interesting coincidence that last weekend's events were hosted by the longest standing leagues in the country. The NSL News reported yesterday that the Georgia Skydiving League had a comeback after two years of hibernation and mentioned the oldest league, the Virginia Parachute Council, which had its season opener last weekend, as well.

Did you know that Georgia is back with 5-Minute Call? posted: Jun 5th, 2009 The Georgia Skydiving League is back in the NSL Network and has resumed the traditional 4-way activities in the Peach State.
The Georgia Skydiving League was actually one of the three leagues that formed the National Skydiving League in 1998, together with Florida and Texas.
It is one of the oldest leagues and was also one of the strongest in the early years. The Virginia Parachute Council is actually the oldest league in the country but joined the NSL Network later on.

Did you know that Mark Izzo is Vertical Obsession's new Center Inside? posted: Jun 4th, 2009 The NSL News reported on 8 April 2009 that Vertical Obsession was looking for a new Center Inside.
Lee Staebler, Rob Jayne, Andrew Palermo, Jim Petrocelli and Markus Lucas had attended three meets in 2008, including the NSL Championship at SkyQuest 2008 in DeLand. The same lineup made plans for the 2009 season. However, only Lee Staebler, Rob Jayne and Andrew Palermo eventually came back and were missing a new team member in the team's driver's seat.

Did you know that NSL News and Camscore team up again for the World Cup 2009? posted: Jun 3rd, 2009 The NSL News has mentioned the FAI World Cup 2009 in the Czech Republic already quite a few times this year, as several teams have this international top competition already on their calendar for the 2009 season. The logo of the event, the link to the NSL News coverage and scores page and a link to the website of the host have now been set up, as well, and confirm that the NSL News will provide live coverage from Prostejov.
