News Article Did you know that a Phoenix may fly over DeLand this weekend?
posted: Apr 15th, 2011 The NSL News reported on 26 March 2011 how two big-way groups prepare for building a new large formation 500-way world record, BJ Worth with his World Team and Dan BC with the Dubai 500 team. Both groups run their own big-way camps and events to get the big-way fans ready for their 500-way attempts. Dan BC's P3 Qualifying Events and BJ Worth's World Team Prep Events will keep the big-way fans busy in the runup to the 500-ways. One of the World Team events is currently happening in DeLand, and the NSL News took a short break from the World Challenge 2011 aftermath. A quick trip to the dropzone... (more)
News Article Did you know that Satori went from 3-1 to 1-3 in four years?
posted: Apr 14th, 2011 The second day of the World Challenge 2011 started out as it had to be expected. The sequence of Round 6 would not allow any team to make a big move. The four top contenders for the money slots scored within two points, and it would have been only one point without the deductions for NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Arizona Airspeed. Hayabusa lost another point to Airspeed, but it did not change the big picture, as the Belgians still had a 7-point lead. Aerodyne Aerokart Maubeuge began the second half of the meet with a sole highscore and would end up as the winner of the last five rounds on Sunday. It... (more)

posted: Apr 13th, 2011 The Georgia Skydiving League launches its 2011 season this weekend, and the new GSL leadership is promising great momentum. GT Wreckless members are planning to blow fresh air into the GSL 2011 sails, as they are highly motivated after a very successful 2010 season. The Georgia Tech team finished the 2010 season with gold medals at the NSL Championship and USPA silver medals in the Advanced Class competition of the Collegiates 2010. Only a West Point lineup was able to beat GT Wreckless' 13.8 average in Eloy in December/January. GT Wreckless is now looking forward to the start of the 2011... (more)
News Article Did you know that Round 5 of the World Challenge brought back some hope?
posted: Apr 12th, 2011 Round 5 completed the first day of the World Challenge 2011, which presented an unusual situation. Arizona Airspeed was expected to be on the top of the leaderboard after the three previous clear victories at the Valentine's Meet 2011, the Paraclete XP Indoor Skydiving Championships 2011 and the Shamrock Showdown 2011. To most people's surprise, Airspeed had to go to bed being eight points behind NMP-PCH Hayabusa. The last round on Saturday brought back some hope since the Belgians did not outperform all other teams this time. Airspeed won the first round of the meet, but it was only one point,... (more)

The situation after the Dubai Championship 2011 was discussed in March, and the newest "Turning Points" provided input after the... (more)
News Article Did you know that Round 4 brought the last sole highscore for NMP-PCH Hayabusa?
posted: Apr 10th, 2011 The fast sequence of random formations in Round 3 of the World Challenge 2011 had separated the three top teams significantly, and Aerodyne Aerokart Maubeuge even dropped to the 4th place. The French national team would make it back to the 3rd place eventually. However, that was all that could be done as of adjustments on the top of the leaderboard after Round 3. NMP-PCH Hayabusa did not even stop after creating a 7-point lead over Arizona Airspeed. The 29-pointer in Round 4 somehow reminded on the French Round 10 at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010. Arizona Airspeed and Aerodyne... (more)
