News Article Did you know that the Golden Knights 4-way team is currently training in Florida?
posted: Jan 28th, 2024 The Golden Knights 4-way and 8-way teams have traditionally conducted their outdoor winter camps in Florida, sometimes in South Florida, sometimes in Central Florida. The current agenda of the U.S. Army's Competition Team, now supported again by command and management, resumed the tradition, and the 4-way team traveled to Skydive City, where they are in the middle of their winter camp. They brought their coach, Arizona Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin, to Florida to continue the work that he has started with the new lineup. It was coincidence that GKXP8 members Jeana Billings and Kirk Verner happened... (more)
News Article Did you know that teams and competitors from Slovakia are regulars at Czech 4-way meets?
posted: Jan 28th, 2024 The NSL News aftermath of the Czech Indoor Open 2024 at the Hurricane Factory in Prague began with the update on January 23rd. It featured the unique accomplishment of the Czech national team in 4-way Junior, HF Chameleons, who won the Czech AAA/Open Class championship title by two points over Skywalkers Junior with a 25.6 average. The next update a few days later pointed out that nine of the twelve medal winners in the same AAA/Open Class category were 4-way competitors who came out of Jan Klapka's 4-way junior school program. The Crazy Dragons lineup in 3rd place included the only three senior... (more)
News Article Did you know that 4-way juniors dominated the Czech Indoor Open?
posted: Jan 26th, 2024 It is no news any longer that Jan Klapka's 4-way junior school program in the Czech Republic has generated a whole new generation of 4-way competitors. The NSL News audience has had the opportunity to follow the progression of the Czech 4-way juniors for many years, with the participation at the Indoor Cloud League and the monthly meets of the Czech Tunnel League in the winter season. The leaderboards of the most recent Czech Indoor Open 2024 provided only more evidence of the successful guidance of the 4-way juniors from the beginner status to world class level. There is a difference though,... (more)
News Article Did you know that Doug Hendrix won the player-coach competition at SkyVenture New Hampshire?
posted: Jan 24th, 2024 As usual, the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest 2024 allowed the participants to sign up for more than only one team. Many of the more experienced 4-way competitors are player-coaches for other teams at the same time. The winner of the unofficial player-coaching contest was Doug Hendrix this year, who won the AAA/Open Class competition with Chicken Bolts and added a second 1st place to his accomplishments. He was also in the lineup of Roscoe’s Roundup who won the AA/Advanced Class competition. His Chicken Bolts team mate Monique Lai challenged him for the top spot of the player-coaches... (more)
News Article Did you know that the HF Chameleons juniors won the Czech AAA indoor title?
posted: Jan 23rd, 2024 The SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest 2024 took place at the same time when the Hurricane Factory in Prague hosted this year's national open indoor championship. However, both events needed their own separate competition draws, as the 4-way teams in New Hampshire perform their ten sequences in a 12-foot flying chamber and apply different dive pools, compared to the 14-foot chamber in Prague. The competition in the Czech Republic featured once again the duel between Skywalkers Junior, reigning national outdoor champions, and HF Chameleons, the Czech national team in 4-way Junior (AA). Skywalkers... (more)
News Article Did you know that Ben Liston fended off the Reunion?
posted: Jan 22nd, 2024 The NSL News preview of the SkyVenture New Hampshire Tunnel Fest 2024 on January 9th included a short introduction of the Chicken Bolts lineup, who then competed with the mentioned members last weekend. It was the first 4-way indoor meet for the New England team, while the complete lineup consists of experienced indoor and outdoor competitors. It could still not be expected that the Chicken Bolts lineup at SkyVenture New Hampshire would create a significant distance to the Reunion of Kim Hollander, Dave Grabowski and Andre Van Heerden, with Louis French completing the lineup. Chicken Bolts... (more)
