posted: May 30th, 2024 The Northern California Skydiving League was launched by Lori Connor in April 2014, seven years after the former Southwest Skydiving League had split up into the Arizona Skydiving League League and the Southern California Skydiving League. The whole state of California was still too large for reasonable regional travel distances between the hosting skydiving centers, and Lori Connor created a separate 4-way schedule for the northern part. posted: May 29th, 2024 The NSL News related to Arizona Airspeed recently even more comprehensively than usual, as the 30-year anniversary was celebrated at the traditional Arizona Challenge last weekend. The actual events that initiated Arizona Airspeed and the historic institution in Formation Skydiving competition happened in December 1993, as the NSL News reported on 19 December 2023. posted: May 27th, 2024 The recent 30-year anniversary of Arizona Airspeed was a good reason to take another closer look at the lineups since 1994. The anniversary story pointed out the 15 Airspeed members (Jack Jefferies, Kirk Verner, Dan Brodsky-Chenfield, Mark Kirkby, John Eagle, Craig Girard, Neal Houston, Eliana Rodriguez, Andy Delk, Josh Hall, Thomas Hughes, Niklas Hemlin, Joey Marshall, Christopher Kuhlmann, Mikhail Markine) who collected the six sets of FAI World Championship gold medals, with five different team videographers (John Lemming, Marc Steinbaugh, Steve Nowak, Bill Schmitz, Brendan Haddon). Did you know that the Arizona Airspeed Challenge 2024 is the 30-year anniversary celebration?
posted: May 26th, 2024 Arizona Airspeed celebrate their 30-year anniversary this weekend at Skydive Arizona in Eloy with the Arizona Airspeed Challenge 2024. The celebration takes place almost exactly on the day when the longest standing 4-way project in the history of Formation Skydiving competition was launched. posted: May 25th, 2024 The NSL News reported on February 13th that Dutch national 4-way indoor and outdoor team Out Of The Blue (OOTB) started with a new lineup into the 2024 season. Mandy Feijen and Bart Daenen did not continue, Roald de Leest and Paul Hofstee replaced them and started training with the returning OOTB members Mechie Voermans and Ralf Pijnenburg. The new lineup went straight to indoor competition at the BENELUX Indoor Championship 2024 and picked up the pace where the previous lineup had left it by the end of the 2023/2024 indoor season at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023 in Slovakia. Did you know that Czech junior Helicopters and Panthers have regular live and remote duels?
posted: May 24th, 2024 The Flyspot Liga in Poland completed its April competition with eight teams, six teams from Poland and two guest teams from Lithuania (Magic 4) and Czech Republic (Panthers). Magic 4 won the AAA Class duel with MAD Team first time this year, with the team's highest average in a 10-round competition without a Super Sequence. Poland's national indoor and outdoor team of the past years, Flyspot Sky4Four, competed once again in the AA Class.
