News Article Did you know that the indoor and outdoor combination in Florida shows results?
posted: May 22nd, 2012 Teams from Florida also contributed to last weekend's leaderboard, which is now complete. A total of 29 teams competed in all four competition classes, with Florida teams in three of them. A Class teams Z-Hills Commandos and Miami Exuberance both attended their second meet of the 2012 season, as well as DeLand Higgs Boson in the A Class. Most Zunday members knew each other from previous FSL events in 2011 and have been visiting the FSL Tunnel Kickers at iFLY Orlando on a regular basis. Finally, the team from Skydive City recruited the first lineup for the 2012 season and joined Higgs Boson... (more)
News Article Did you know that two USPA medalists of 2011 battled with each other last weekend in Texas?
posted: May 21st, 2012 The NSL News reported on 16 May 2012 that the Northwest Skydiving League is resuming the 4way activities this year. The Texas Skydiving League is also back in the NSL Network with four separate meets scheduled for the 2012 season. The first competition took place in Spaceland last weekend, and the scores from Texas are part of a leaderboard with multiple events (Florida, Germany, Lithuania, Northern Plains, Texas). It is no big surprise that Spaceland Lite is on the top of the AAA Class rankings. Katrina Shows, Richard Rothery, Devon Shows and Christina West, with Cory Kossan on camera, won... (more)
News Article Did you know that seven teams launched a promising 2012 season in Germany?
posted: May 20th, 2012 New scores from seven teams in Germany have been added to this weekend's overall leaderboard. The German teams completed eight rounds, and the NSL leaderboard ranks the teams by the total number of points. Three German teams are now in the top rankings, however, the standings are misleading if the completed number of rounds are different. NPSL team Acme was actually tied with Airfix Fehrbellin, the AAA Class leader, after six rounds. The meet average also does not provide a much better picture since the sequences for Round 7 (A,L,M,11) and Round 8 (7,G,K,J) were the fastest ones of this weekend's... (more)
News Article Did you know that eight teams are kicking off the NPSL 2012 season?
posted: May 19th, 2012 The new meet weekend is in full swing, even though it was a slow start at Skydive Twin Cities where the Northern Plains Skydiving League teams kicked off their 2012 season. Event judge John Goswitz posted the first scores for the eight teams in three different categories, while coach Solly Williams worked hard to get them all ready and guide them through the meet day. It was a slow day due to high winds that interfered after most of the teams had completed Round 2. The winds slowed down in the late afternoon, and the teams were back in the air for a few more jumps. HTH has a new team name,... (more)
News Article Did you know that it's show time for the Northern Plains Skydiving League?
posted: May 18th, 2012 The meets of the upcoming weekend include the season opener of the Northern Plains Skydiving League. It is the first meet for new NPSL Director Al BeVier, creator of the Little Cloud Skydiving project, and Solly Williams will be the NPSL coach for the weekend. The NSL News will also make the trip to Skydive Twin Cities, and there are several reasons for the visit. One of them is a new film project that has recently been launched by the Lenstory Film Group and features a 4way team of the Northern Plains Skydiving League, HTH. HTH attended three of the four NPSL meets in 2011 (10.8 - 11.5 -... (more)
News Article Did you know that three Carolina teams keep pushing each other?
posted: May 17th, 2012 It happened again - the female lineup of the Golden Knights outscored the Black team last weekend... CASL Director Andy Honigbaum provided the missing scores of the Carolina Skydiving League, and he could announce a very successful season opener with 13 teams in Raeford. It was not only the number of teams that made his debut as the new league director so successful. There was also a super exciting battle going on in the AAA Class competition.CASL 2012 - MayRound 1Round 2Round 3Round 4Round 5Round 6TotalAvgRankAAA Class5,E,3B,K,18,2211,13,2A,L,1,821,O,4F,C,D,20TotalAvg1Golden Knights Women 19...
