posted: Sep 4th, 2012 The NSL News still has plenty of footage of the World Cup 2012 live coverage from Prostejov, and some of it needs to be uploaded timely, as it could become old news very quickly. NMP-PCH Hayabusa and Thunder both compete this weekend at the ESL Championship 2012, and last week's scores will be history and replaced by more current ones. All team members of both teams met with the NSL News on Thursday afternoon and discussed the results at the World Cup and the upcoming competition. News Article Did you know that Finland looks back at a successful 2012 season and expects growing participation in 2013?
posted: Sep 3rd, 2012 This year's 4way competition season in Finland is over. League manager Marko Saaresto reported that the last meet was completed in familiar cloudy but chilly weather. The annual Utti Money Meet, a cash prize competition organized by Jarmo Rossi, was another great and last opportunity for the teams and individuals to prove their skills at the end of the season. The five 4way teams, five VFS teams, two Freeflying lineups and nine accuracy competitors made this local competitive event second only to the national championships. News Article Did you know that Christy Frikken and Hannah Betts competed for the Northwest Skydiving League at iFLY Seattle?
posted: Sep 2nd, 2012 The Northwest Skydiving League community held their portion of the NWSL/FSL - Seattle/Orlando tunnel duel on August 21st at iFLY Seattle. NWSL Director Deb Correia reported that she headed into this session with almost an entirely new group of people: "Since there were not a lot of experienced 4way competitors, coaches Carolyn Chow, David Zhang and Dave Correia encouraged people to push themselves to participate at a higher level to encourage learning and fun instead of staying in a comfort zone. posted: Sep 1st, 2012 Much has been said about the NMP-PCH Hayabusa and the Thunder performance at the World Cup 2012, and it will not end for a while. Both teams provided more than enough footage and topics to keep the NSL News busy for a while. The aftermath begins with the videos of all Hayabusa and Thunder competition rounds in Prostejov. NSL-TV had featured five Hayabusa rounds during the live coverage from Protejov earlier, including both videos of Round 5, and also Thunder's Round 1 and Round 4. posted: Aug 31st, 2012 This past Saturday Skydive Chicago hosted the fourth and final Midwest Skydiving League meet of the 2012 season. It was a beautiful morning with great jumping conditions, and six teams came to take advantage of it. Three of those teams registered for the AA Class, and they were all welcomed by a slow competition draw. The Hawks were joined by new team SDC Edge and veterans Jetstream Tango, back for their fourth season of MWSL competition. Despite a costly video problem in Round 1, Tango gave the Hawks a run for their money, but finished 2nd by three points in the weather shortened meet. Edge... (more)
News Article Did you know that the horse race between Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders and Golden Knights is over?
posted: Aug 30th, 2012 The three female 4way teams at the World Cup 2012 have been ranked on two different leaderboards since the Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders competed in the Open Class for France. The NSL News has shown all three teams on a separate leaderboard to compare apples with apples in the race to Dubai. This race is over in Prostejov now, and the Golden Knights turned the battle around in the very last minute. The 1-point lead for France lasted only for a few hours before the US team finished in 1st place after a great Round 10. The Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders had a bad exit in Round 10, as the video...
