The new 110way world record for the 2-point sequential by the Kaleidoscope Divers at SkyQuest 2013 could not be improved and is standing until a different group may challenge it. High winds kept all skydivers in DeLand on the ground on Sunday.
The 4way teams in DeLand had completed their meet at the end of Saturday, and the ISR Grand Prix 2013 was also scheduled for Saturday and completed without any weather problems...

Did you know that the 110way world record at SkyQuest 2013 was a real Kaleidoscope Dive? posted: Nov 23rd, 2013 It was an indoor and outdoor record weekend, which is not over yet in DeLand.
The ISR Grand Prix 2013 had record participation, while the Kaleidoscope Divers booked a new world record for bigway sequentials at SkyQuest 2013. The last jump of the day brought the success that the bigway fans had aimed for under BJ Worth's guidance this year.

Did you know that the first 110way jump of SkyQuest 2013 was a completion? posted: Nov 22nd, 2013 The rainy weather continued on Friday morning of SkyQuest 2013. It got even worse for BJ Worth who has been fighting a severe cold for days. The cold eventually won and put the Kaleidoscope Dives leader into bed very early on Thursday.
It did not get much better on Friday for him, as he had to sit out for the whole day. Roger Ponce was ready to take over the dive management in the morning.
This doesn't sound like much, as it was raining anyway. However, the skies finally cleared in the afternoon, and the smaller groups and teams could get in the air before it was time for the first 66ways.... (more)
Did you know that accurate bigway keying systems have become more crucial? posted: Nov 21st, 2013 The Kaleidoscope Dives of SkyQuest 2013 began with a reception at the Clarion Hotel DeLand last night, followed by a lot of dirtdiving on Thursday. The reception was a part of the plan and the schedule, while the very intensive jump preparations on Thursday were not really voluntary.
Rainy weather kept the Kaleidoscope Divers on the ground all day long. BJ Worth had planned to do 66ways on the first day of the event to familiarize the bigway fans with the design of the signature formation and practice some of the maneuvers with the smaller formations.

Did you know that the POPS 60way world record sequential was a great SkyQuest warmup? posted: Nov 20th, 2013 The SkyQuest week at Skydive DeLand has grown to a bigway week in the past years, as other events have been plugged onto the traditional event with BJ Worth's Kaleidoscope Dives and the NSL Championship 4way competition, which was originally launched in 2001 at Fantasy of Flight.
The POPS members have started the SkyQuest week with their own bigway event in the past years on the prior weekend. This year's POPS bigways in DeLand aimed at the new bigway sequential world record rules, which also apply for any POPS events.

Did you know that NSL-TV features the first official year of female 4way competition in 2001? posted: Nov 19th, 2013 The great interest of the Sun Path Products NSL News audience in the historic battles of Formation Skydiving competition and videos from the NSL-TV archives is more than enough reason to visit events of the past more frequently. New live coverage will very soon kick back in, as the final preparations for SkyQuest 2013 are in the works.
The previous trips into the past (10 November 2013 and 11 November 2013) covered top teams at the Shamrock Showdown 2005. This time, the Sun Path Products NSL News goes even further back and found videos of the Florida Skydiving League meet in May 2001.
