News Article Did you know that the 2014 starting point is set for the Aerodyne French Girls?
posted: Jan 24th, 2014 The first scores of the Aerodyne French Girls came from the Wind Games 2014, as well. The Sun Path Products NSL News published a preview of this year's competition in the female 4way category on 8 January 2014 and followed up after the first six rounds in Empuriabrava on 17 January 2014. The scores after ten rounds have confirmed the French top position at the moment, while Kaizen held on to the 20+ average on the second day of the indoor competition. The new videos are showing both teams with all ten rounds at the Wind Games. It was the first time that Kaizen scored above 20-average at an... (more)
News Article Did you know that the field of teams for the annual New Hampshire Indoor Fest is set?
posted: Jan 23rd, 2014 The annual SkyVenture New Hampshire Indoor Fest is coming up this weekend, and the field of teams is set. 28 teams will compete in the four categories and try to master a down-sized dive pool that fits in the 12-foot flying chamber. Shmeland and Minimal Compliance will have a re-match in the AAA Class competition with exactly the same lineups as last year. Shmeland's Sally Hathaway has recovered from her shoulder surgery and is ready to get back into full 4way action. It's a challenging task for the AAA Class teams, as the dive pool includes several blocks (3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 14, 15,... (more)

posted: Jan 22nd, 2014 Arizona Airspeed's Center Outside Thomas Hughes was still on his way back home after competing at the Wind Games 2014 when the Sun Path Products NSL News connected with him during a layover in Frankfurt, Germany. NMP-PCH Hayabusa's Tail, Roy Janssen, had provided his feedback on 18 January 2014, and it would be interesting to hear the meet story from the other side of the top competition. Thomas Hughes was watching Martial Ferre's VELOCE.FR videos on SKYLEAGUE.COM while the conversation took place via Skype technology. He was able to comment live on the competition rounds and point out the... (more)
News Article Did you know that the French Ferre brothers competed together in 1999 and 2014?
posted: Jan 21st, 2014 French 4way and 8way world champion of 1999 and 2010, Martial Ferre, provided the Sun Path Products NSL News with another video of competition sequences at the Wind Games 2014. The international EXL3Maubeuge lineup caught attention during the first news update from Spain on 17 January 2014. Pete Allum, Marin Ferre, Martial Ferre and Ivan Quadrio eventually finished with a 23.1 average after one hour of indoor training before the competition. Only one team member, Pete Allum, had scored higher before. The annual XL indoor reunion at Bodyflight Bedford has brought him together with his former... (more)
News Article Did you know that four Czech team still have a perfect record of 2013/14 indoor scoring progression?
posted: Jan 20th, 2014 The indoor part of the SKYLEAGUE.COM event coverage continues with recent updates, while the outdoor coverage still consists mostly of previews of events to come and reviews of previous meets. The winter season in the western hemisphere keeps teams and competitors naturally either in hibernation or limits them to visits at warmer places for winter training camps. That does not count any longer for the teams who are within reasonable travel distance to one of the many wind tunnels. Teams in the Czech Republic have enjoyed a consistent indoor competition schedule for the winter season since... (more)
News Article Did you know that Thomas Hughes and Thiago Gomes connected seriously in 2008?
posted: Jan 19th, 2014 The new Arizona Airspeed lineup had a very challenging task ahead when training began for the 2013 season. NMP-PCH Hayabusa was far ahead when the Belgian team came back with the same lineup. Hayabusa was literally on the same scoring and performance level at the Mondial Dubai 2012. Thomas Hughes and Mark Kirkby had invited Thiago Gomes and Chris Farina to fill the two open slots and then had to bring the new lineup back to the gold medal level of December 2012 for the starting point. It was the same starting point where Hayabusa took off from at the beginning of the 2013 season. The new... (more)
