Did you know that the first-timers at a world meet have a good time? posted: Aug 29th, 2014 The protest dust has settled after a few other teams also tried to get re-jumps due to higher air speed than required on jump run. The jury has not agreed with any arguments for any re-jumps, and the scores on the leaderboard are standing strongly.
The Sun Path Products NSL News has now been zooming in on teams and competitors who compete for the first at a World Championship of Formation Skydiving. There is time for that, as the situation at the relevant spots on the leaderboards seem to be settled.

Did you know that the Golden Knights protest was declined by the jury? posted: Aug 29th, 2014 The Sun Path Products NSL News mentioned yesterday that the Golden Knights story of Round 4 in 8-way at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 was not over yet.
The US delegation filed an official protest to the FAI Jury and requested a re-jump for Round 4. It turned out to become a great opportunity to study and learn more about a protest in Formation Skydiving competition. The Sun Path Products NSL News collected feedback from participants and officials and tried to present the subject from as many different angles as possible.

Did you know that Round 4 in 8-way had a dramatic ending - or not? posted: Aug 28th, 2014 Thursday afternoon brought the 8-way and VFS 4-way competition to the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014. The teams completed five rounds and made up for the rainy days.
The 4-way Open Class and 4-way Women teams will be next to get in as many rounds as possible on Friday morning.
Round 4 in 8-way generated a dramatic story - but no world record. Did you know that NMP-PCH Hayabusa summarized the first day after Round 3? posted: Aug 28th, 2014 The 4-way competition in the traditional events (Open/Women) is over for Thursday at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014, and the VFS 4-way and 8-way teams get their turn for the rest of the day.

Did you know that Paratec-Saar has a strong grip on the 6th place? posted: Aug 28th, 2014 It was a cold and wet Thursday morning at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014 when the teams came to the drop zone for a 7 am take-off time.
It was very much worth the effort, as the skies have been blue, the runway dry enough and the competition exciting. The new NSL Reality TV video clip is trying to bring the early morning atmosphere across, while the final preparations were taking place.

Did you know that Meet Director Bryan Burke now has a competitive agenda in Prostejov? posted: Aug 27th, 2014 Wednesday was an interesting day at the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014.
The weather situation was matching the forecast, and there was no chance to get the jump planes in thr air until early afternoon. Then the weather changed, as is was expected, as well, and the front finally went through. The skies cleared, and there was nothing in the way of more competition - except of one obstacle: the wet grass runway.
The teams and competitors were surprised when a public announcement terminated the competition for the day. The runway would not be able to support the take-offs... (more)
