posted: Sep 24th, 2014 It is now time to go back to the FAI World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2014, where the aftermath of the event is far from being complete. The Sun Path Products NSL News switched quickly to the coverage of the German Nationals 2014 after the action at the world meet was over, which was followed by the UK Nationals and then by the USPA Nationals. The meet videos of the medal winners in 4-way Open and 8-way were uploaded with earlier stories, which were part of the review in those events. posted: Sep 23rd, 2014 The 2014 outdoor competition season is slowly coming to an end. Russia is the last country holding the national championships this week, while only the Northern California Skydiving League and the Florida Skydiving League have one more competition scheduled, their playoffs, before this year's NSL Championship in November. The 5th Dubai Cup will be last major event of the year. The Sun Path Products NSL News will soon have the opportunity to catch up with the aftermath of other major events of the 2014 season. News Article Did you know that the UK meet experience helped to win the ESL Spirit for the 2nd time?
posted: Sep 22nd, 2014 The ESL Championship 2014 was successfully concluded after eight rounds. Not much changed after the first six rounds on Friday, and the four teams from Great Britain made sure that the ESL Spirit sword went to their homeland for the 2nd time. Bodyflight Aero (A Class) and Perpetual Chaos (Rookie Class) maintained their top spots and received 10 ESL points each. A Class team Entropy added 6 ESL points for the 3rd place, and Vultures 4 Mayhem finished off the other delegations with their 5th place in the AAA Class for a total of 30 ESL points. News Article Did you know that there is a 4-point difference between indoor and outdoor scoring?
posted: Sep 21st, 2014 Thunder ISR won the ESL Championship 2014 with a 21.1 average this weekend. The same lineup had posted a 25.4 average at the Wind Games 2014 and then a 24.1 average at the World Challenge 2014. Fire Coopers, winner of the A Class competition in Teuge this weekend, had an 18.7 average in April in Bedford and finished in 1st place at the ESL Championship with a 13.6 average. News Article Did you know that the UK delegation is on top after Round 6 at the ESL Championship?
posted: Sep 20th, 2014 The ESL Championship is now in full swing in Teuge, Netherlands. The 23 teams completed six rounds on Friday, the first day of the competition. Once again, the host has more teams registered than the other delegations from seven different countries, and the Dutch delegation can take the advantage of it by scoring with teams in all four categories. However, the Dutch Rookie Class teams actually put the Netherlands in 2nd place in the competition for the ESL Spirit, which goes to the delegation with the highest number of ESL points at the end. News Article Did you know that NWSL teams and competitors concluded their 2014 season in a funny and creative way?
posted: Sep 19th, 2014 The Northwest Skydiving League held its final meet of the season on September 13, with unusually warm weather for this time of year in the Northwest. The teams got a great start, with the first load taking off shortly after 9am. All teams competed at Skydive Snohomish, as Synergy, which normally competes at Skydive Kapowsin, was at the USPA Nationals. Bill Selig served as judge for the meet. The friendly competition between the A Class teams, JOES and Fun Sponge, continued. The two teams are coached respectively by Dave and Deb Correia.
