News Article Did you know that the tables have turned in 8-way competition?
posted: Mar 11th, 2015 The Sun Path Products NSL News covered the 8-way competition at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2015 yesterday with an introduction of the international visitors in Veloce QRF's 8-way lineup. The same article mentioned that the Golden Knights did not try to defend last year's 8-way title. This does not mean that the Golden Knights did not compete in Raeford this year. In fact, all current 8-way members attended the competition, except for Andrew Starr, who had a back surgery last week and needs time to recover. The names of two AAA/Open Class 8-way teams (Raeford Knights, Husky Knights)... (more)
News Article Did you know that Veloce QRF had a colorful lineup at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship?
posted: Mar 10th, 2015 The Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2015 included once again the only 8-way indoor competition in the world. 19 teams participated for a new record attendance, nine in the Open Class and ten in the Intermediate Class. The Golden Knights, winner of last year's 8-way competition with the gold medal lineup of Prostejov, were split up in several other lineups. The US Army's 8-way team has trouble to put their current lineup together, and the Sun Path Products NSL News will follow up with a report of the Golden Knights 8-way situation. Paraclete's 8-way lineup was only shortly behind the Golden... (more)
News Article Did you know that Airspeed's 27.8 average is the second highest result in 4-way outdoor history?
posted: Mar 9th, 2015 The week of the Paraclete XP Indoor and Outdoor Championships 2015 is over after a total of 16 rounds in Raeford and DeLand, and Arizona Airspeed will win the USPA Nationals 2015 - if the history of the relationship between the outdoor competition in DeLand and the national championships does not change. The winner of the Shamrock Showdown/Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship has always won the gold medals at the USPA Nationals since the event was launched in 2002. Arizona Airspeed had a slow start at the indoor competition, which might have been caused by the team's travel adventure from the west... (more)
News Article Did you know that former Airspeed member Neal Houston visited the place of the original event?
posted: Mar 8th, 2015 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015 came to a great end after a false start. Two days of bad weather had kept the teams on the ground on Friday and Saturday. Sunday was a completely different story when clear skies and perfect conditions welcomed the teams, who were boarding the Twin Otter at 7:30 AM. Six rounds were completed at 1 PM, and there would have been enough time to add the four missing rounds. However, the travel schedule of the visiting teams was based on the posted event schedule, which included the award ceremony before 3 PM. It was still a happy ending for all teams,... (more)
News Article Did you know that Sunday morning will bring a busy agenda to the teams in DeLand?
posted: Mar 7th, 2015 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015 does not have much to offer yet at the end of the second meet day. Bad weather did not allow any competition rounds on Friday and Saturday. This does not mean that there will be no scores at all. The weather forecast for Sunday morning is much better, and all teams are on high alert for a very busy morning. The Sun Path Products NSL News has the opportunity to go back to the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2015 where all ten rounds were completed. It's the last preview of the first outdoor showdown this year between Arizona Airspeed and SDC Rhythm... (more)
News Article Did you know that teams are waiting for better weather at the Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship?
posted: Mar 6th, 2015 The Paraclete XP Outdoor Championship 2015 has a small but very interesting field this year. It's an "off-year" for the international teams, who have their main event next year, the Mondial 2016 with the World Championship of Formation Skydiving. However, it's an "on-year" for the US teams, as the USPA Nationals 2015 are the qualification event for next year's world meet. The best US teams just completed their first 2015 test at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2015, and it is now time for the first outdoor competition. The weather has not cooperated so far, and the teams are waiting... (more)
