Did you know that the world meet schedule may have its own psychology? posted: Oct 5th, 2024 The rest of the Friday at Crystal Coast was dedicated to more training jumps for the present teams, setting up the dubbing and judging stations and other logistics. Tent City and the team hangar were busy places for most of the day and only began to thin out in the later afternoon.
The facilities were mostly used by the teams behind the medal contenders, who have been training in previous days leading up to the competition and are already well prepared. Did you know that the 4-way Women situation has changed at Crystal Coast? posted: Oct 4th, 2024 It's almost time for outdoor world championship acton at Crystal Coast, where Paraclete XP and Skydive Chicago are hosting the 26th FAI World Formation Skydiving Championships together. Friday and Saturday are the last training days, and Round 1 is scheduled for Sunday morning.
The NSL News has moved from DeLand to the event site at Crystal Coast Skydiving in Beaufort, North Carolina, and the six teams who made the same road trip are now jumping from Twin Otters at the competition site. There is one exception though, as not all members of Norway's 4-way Women team Thyra made it to Crystal Coast.

Did you know that Teiwaz outside center Tim Mack is filming his father Tom Mack for Airbus at Crystal Coast? posted: Oct 3rd, 2024 Sweden's Echochamber and Germany's 4-way Open Class team, Airbus Oceanside Illertissen, left Florida on the same Wednesday, after the two training days of the German teams at Skydive City from the Twin Otter, and after Echochamber's last eventful training day from Cessna Caravan at Skydive DeLand.
Echochamber traveled with the same lineup that finished in 5th place at the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2018, Airbus with the same one that started in 2020 and attended their first outdoor world championship in Eloy 2022.

Did you know that Sweden's Echochamber is ready to re-claim the unofficial amateur world champion title? posted: Oct 2nd, 2024 Six national 4-way teams visited Skydive DeLand in the run-up to the FAI Outdoor World Championships 2024, and the last training before the major event began with Thyra's arrival last weekend. The Norwegian 4-way team in 4-way Women brought their coach and mentor, Carl-Erika Tuv, who will guide the team through their first outdoor world championship at Crystal Coast in North Carolina.
Their 4-way Women opponent from Germany, Meltemi Illertissen Oceanside, arrived shortly later and changed plans when Skydive DeLand's Twin Otter broke unexpectedly. There was a Cessna Caravan available as an instant... (more)
Did you know that Skywalkers Junior are moving on an 18-average pace level? posted: Oct 1st, 2024 The Indoor Cloud League team of the Hurricane Factory in Prague continued limping through the Czech Republic's outdoor summer season in August, as well. The July total of 82 ICL points was the lowest score in a long time, and the 91 points for August were not much more. The iFLY Dallas team in 2nd place was able to reduce the difference by 39 points in the same two months.
August was still a better month for Jan Klapka's team than July, as he was at least able to recruit enough teams to perform all six monthly ICL sequences. He had submitted scores and videos for only four categories in July.

Did you know that Sven Ibens has concluded his competitive 4-way career? posted: Sep 29th, 2024 The NSL News mentioned in the preview of the ESL Championship 2024 on September 21st that Belgian 4-way legend Sven Ibens would attend his last competition with a well trained team at the Fallschirmsportzentrum Saar in Germany.
His amazing 4-way career began even before he became one of the original NMP PCH HayaBusa members, and his journey of over three decades was documented as well as possible in his NSL Profile that was published in 2016.
