posted: Jun 10th, 2024 The comeback of regional leagues in the National Skydiving League's 4-way Network continues with the Virginia Parachute Council. Returning league director Kat Osipova has scheduled two 4-way events for the 2024 season, and she is hoping that her 4-way community in the Virginia region is ready to resume activities of the longest standing skydiving league in the country. The last event took place in May 2019, and the corona virus crisis was the same major obstacle in Virginia that got in the way all across the planet. News Article Did you know that Paraclete XP and iFLY Dallas shared the ICL May highscores behind the Czech teams?
posted: Jun 10th, 2024 The Indoor Cloud League team of the Hurricane Factory in Prague created the second ICL Sweep in its competition history last month, as the NSL News reported on June 3rd. The story on June 6th followed up on the ICL May competition and featured the Czech teams who generated the sweep. The focus on the Czech teams included the situation of Skywalkers Junior and HF Chameleons, the two Czech top teams in AAA Class competition, even though HF Chameleons are still a 4-way junior team. News Article Did you know that new NSL Live Talk with Jennifer and Matt Davidson was overdue?
posted: Jun 9th, 2024 Jennifer and Matt Davidson have been regular guests for NSL Live Talk, even though the topics were always different ones. They have been together on NSL Live Talk four times, and the last one was recorded on 4 November 2020. The first conversation happened on 20 April 2019 live at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2019 when they visited the competition at Weembi Lille without using the flying chamber. News Article Did you know that Menacing Moths' first scoring formation was out of working time?
posted: Jun 7th, 2024 The NSL News reported on May 30th that the Northern California Skydiving League was preparing for the next 4-way season with new league director Tamara Bartlett. The first event was successfully completed, and the three NCSL teams at Skydive California in Tracy shared last weekend's leaderboards with the British 4-way teams at Skydive Sibson. The British teams had the AAA and AA Class leaderboards for themselves, as the NCSL teams used only the RRR and A Class sequences for their first experiences in 4-way competition. News Article Did you know that HF Chameleons begin dominating Czech indoor competition?
posted: Jun 6th, 2024 The NSL News reported on June 3rd that the Czech Indoor Cloud League team at Prague's Hurricane Factory swept the highscores of all six categories in May. This had happened only once in the history of the Indoor Cloud League, in January 2019. As usual, several Czech 4-way teams battled for the honor of posting the highest score for the Czech ICL delegation. This time, six of the eight Czech teams were 4-way juniors, and three of them won their respective categories and combined for the ICL Sweep in May. News Article Did you know that NSL Power Rankings date back to events in 2000?
posted: Jun 5th, 2024 The recent excursion of the NSL News into earlier decades of Formation Skydiving competition included the history of Paul Hofstee's 4-way and 8-way odyssey in different European teams and his return to the Dutch roots as the new outside center for Out Of The Blue (OOTB). The NSL News found his name in even earlier and unpublished archives before he launched the Punky Fish player-coaching project and then joined the Dutch national 4-way team, Dynamic Fource.
