Did you know that Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League lineups connect with the indoor world cup? posted: Apr 16th, 2022 4-way indoor coverage continues with an Indoor Cloud League update. The Paraclete XP team added scores and videos for March and April to the leaderboards, and there is actually an indirect connection with the just completed FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 in Charleroi, Belgium.
The Paraclete XP videos feature two different AAA/AA lineups in March and April, which are loaded with national and world champions from the United States, while the reigning U.S. indoor champions of Arizona Airspeed took officially the number one position of the indoor world in Charleroi.
However, Arizona Airspeed is not... (more)
Did you know that Jan Klapka has turned the Hurricane Factory into a 4-way team factory and now a medal factory? posted: Apr 15th, 2022 The 4-way Junior competition at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 was promising an exciting international competition when the field of registered teams still included two additional teams from Russia. It seemed as if all five junior teams could be in contention for medals.
The exclusion of the Russian delegation from the event reduced the 4-way Junior field to three teams, who were still expected to challenge each other, as the NSL News reported on March 28th. The French Aerokart Ak'demie lineup had posted a 16.1 average on the AAA Class leaderboard of the French Indoor Nationals. This was close... (more)
Did you know that the complete Nephtys lineup continue with outdoor training and competition? posted: Apr 14th, 2022 The 4-way Women competition for the top spot at the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 had a very interesting similarity compared to the 4-way Open Class leaderboard. Both events had an undisputed winner at the end of the competition, who gave away only one round and allowed the team in 2nd place to tie another score.
Even the point difference in the one lost round was the same, four points for Airspeed in Round 2, four points for HF Cubs in Round 3. However, the total numbers of points after Round 10 were significantly different. Arizona Airspeed did not leave France or Belgium even the slightest chance... (more)
Did you know that the indoor/outdoor transition works well in Texas? posted: Apr 13th, 2022 The aftermath of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 will continue for a while. However, other events continue, and the two French competitors are not the only ones who transition to outdoor training and competition priority.
The Indoor Cloud League teams have their own balance between indoor and outdoor teams and competitors, which the NSL News has pointed out many times as a part of the ICL coverage. Kyle Hermberg, ICL organizer of the iFLY Dallas team, is one of the indoor experts, who focuses exclusively on indoor training and competition.
He provided the NSL News with the March update from... (more)
Did you know that Tom Mattoni and Mathieu Quizy switch to outdoor training and competition? posted: Apr 12th, 2022 One of the few teams in the world who could aim at keeping up with Arizona Airspeed is the French national indoor team in 4-way Open, Aerokart Monaco Ak'demie. Three of the team members (Cameron Malie, Oscar Massier, Tom Mattoni) have been training and competing together since 2016 when they were a part of the French 4-way junior program at the Aerokart windtunnel in Paris.
National coach Mathieu Bernier was aware of the potential of the team, and he decided last year to assign the three former juniors as the national indoor team in 4-way Open, with Mathieu Quizy as the 4th member.
It was... (more)
Did you know that Arizona Airspeed have no competition at this point in time? posted: Apr 11th, 2022 Arizona Airspeed impressed the live audience at Paraclete XP and the international NSL News online audience more than enough at the Paraclete XP Indoor Championship 2022. The new definition of the team's style was created at the Paraclete event when the word "Airspeed Machine" made the rounds regularly.
It was not any different after the ten outdoor rounds of the Shamrock Showdown in March, and Arizona Airspeed launched their strongest indoor/outdoor start of a new year in the team's history. The new indoor record average of 34.6 was logically not a surprise. In fact, Airspeed were ready to... (more)
