News Article Did you know that Arizona Airspeed lead NMP PCH HayaBusa by seven at half-time?
posted: Jun 26th, 2022 Yesterday's NSL News update from the 2022 CISM Military World Championships in Austria ended with the exciting news that Arizona Airspeed is performing the same eight sequences during their running training camp at Skydive Arizona, host of the FAI Outdoor World Meet 2022 in October. The videos of the first four rounds are now available, and preliminary scores have been added to the virtual leaderboard of the real event. At the same time, the NSL News reached out to Gary Smith, who is present at the event for his coaching job with the Qatar Tigers. He is in an interesting position that the... (more)
News Article Did you know that NMP PCH HayaBusa lead Qatar Tigers by nine at half-time?
posted: Jun 25th, 2022 The NSL News has increased the coverage of the military CISM world championships over the years for good reasons. NMP PCH HayaBusa and Qatar Tigers became the bridge between military and civilian 4-way competition, even though the rules of participation are very different. Golden Knights teams and competitors had also competed at CISM events randomly for the U.S. Army. Only lineups with same-gender members are eligible for the two CISM Formation Skydiving events, 4-way Male and 4-way Female. NMP PCH HayaBusa and Qatar Tigers have fallen into the male category since both teams were formed, and... (more)

posted: Jun 24th, 2022 The exit funnel of Block 17 (Danish T - Bipole) by Chimera at the June meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League became the initiating event for a very interesting discussion, when Niklas Hemlin debriefed the five rounds during the NSL Live Talk on June 15th. The new topic went far beyond the actual exit funnel, which cost Chimera almost ten seconds of working time, as the meet videos are showing. Chimera provided the footage and their own thoughts at the end of a training day during another NSL Live Talk conversation with the complete lineup from Skydive Langar, their home dropzone. Niklas... News Article Did you know that Chimera welcomed the audience on their home turf?
posted: Jun 22nd, 2022 The British national team in 4-way Open, Chimera, was a part of the recent NSL Live Talk with Arizona Airspeed's Niklas Hemlin. He has been coaching the team for a while, and Chimera seem to be on the way to become one of the few amateur teams in the world who may join the 20+ average club. Chimera recently attended their first outdoor competition of the year, the June meet of the United Kingdom Skydiving League on their home turf in Langar. Chimera had won the British Indoor Nationals 2022 in February before transitioning fully to outdoor training and competition. After the conversation... (more)
News Article Did you know that six teams from six countries competed for a different goal at the indoor world cup?
posted: Jun 21st, 2022 Every coverage of sports in general, and 4-way competition just as well, features naturally much of the action near the top of the leaderboard, with the teams who are in contention for the medal positions. However, the leaderboards usually include several additional internal battles for positioning in other areas of the rankings, and the NSL News covers as much of that as possible. There is usually more information available of the teams in the top positions of the leaderboards, as it takes some time and attendance at enough events to become a contender for the top spots. The scoring history... (more)
