posted: Jan 12th, 2023 Original HayaBusa member and new Team Leader & Managing Director for VIGIL, Sven Ibens, introduced a new ISR FireFlash member during the NSL Live Talk on January 3rd. The official announcement by the Belgian world-class team followed a few days later: "We are proud to announce that Lena Clynhens will join the ISR FireFlash family! Lena started skydiving 4.5 years ago at Skydive Flanders. She's a former member of Aquila, but will now complete our team after Wesley's retirement at the end of last summer. posted: Jan 11th, 2023 The NSL News aftermath of the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2022 included the performance of the German national team in 4-way Open, Airbus Oceanside Illertissen, with the update on 21 November 2022. The story mentioned that Airbus had plans until 2024 before the current lineup competed for the first time at a world championship last October in Eloy. It was also the first time for team members Felix Pfeiffer and Alexander Prendinger, who competed only with the Airbus 8-way team in Australia 2018. posted: Jan 10th, 2023 The U.S. national indoor and outdoor team in 4-way Women, XPG4, recently announced their next change in the lineup for the near future: "Happy New Year from XPG4! The new year finds us with a new lineup. We are extremely excited to announce Shannon Catalano and Joss Martin (video) as our new teammates! Shannon is the 2021 Advanced FS Champion, and Joss has extensive video and demo experience, being a current member of Team Fastrax. posted: Jan 9th, 2023 The NSL News has covered the Dutch Formation Skydiving Project 20+ since it was launched in 2017. The project itself was eventually discontinued, while results of it are still tangible. The project updates from the Netherlands turned to the teams with former project members, and two of them are now the strongest ones on Dutch leaderboards. News Article Did you know that the iFLY Dallas team wrapped up their Indoor Cloud League year with another highscore?
posted: Jan 8th, 2023 Kyle Hermberg's Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Dallas wrapped up the 2022 season with three consecutive highscores for the months of October, November and December, unless one of the missing totals will still improve the 127 points of the Texas team last month. However, no other Indoor Cloud League team will be able to beat the total of 1425 ICL points for the whole year, which means that Kyle Hermberg's team at iFLY Dallas has defended the top spot successfully, which they took away from the Hurricane Factory at the end of the 2021 season. News Article Did you know that the Shamrock Showdown continues in DeLand with the best field ever?
posted: Jan 8th, 2023 The last Shamrock Showdown at Skydive DeLand in 2018 before the corona crisis attracted three of the Top 4 teams at the FAI Outdoor World Championship 2018 and the 4-way Women world champions of the same year to Florida in March. Several additional teams used the opportunity to meet the best teams in the world live at a competition. Arizona Airspeed still competed with the previous lineup in DeLand (Thiago Gomes, Ari Perelman, David French on camera) who would end up two points behind NMP PCH HayaBusa in Australia 2018, little over half a year later.
