Did you know that Airspeed Velocity and Norway Arcteryx tied the highest score for round one? posted: Apr 19th, 2005 The new round of NSL-TV features the meet opener of the FSL competition in Lake Wales last weekend. The NSL-TV fans can expect a lot of footage to come in the upcoming weeks. Hopefully, the NSL headquarters will be able to keep up with the incoming footage despite the time consuming process of editing and uploading the video files.

Did you know that Norway's Arcteryx joined the 20+ club in Lake Wales? posted: Apr 18th, 2005 The NSL News story of April 13 had just covered the performance of the Norwegian national 4-way team Arcteryx at the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005. It took only one weekend until Arcteryx would catch the attention of the NSL News once again.
Arcteryx Point Ditta Valsdottir mentioned that her team was looking for more competition practise and also for the opportunity to build confidence by posting higher scores. The second meet of the Florida Skydiving League last weekend in Lake Wales gave the Norwegian team to chance to achieve both goals. (more)
Did you know that organizers in Brazil plan to launch the Brazilian Skydiving League? posted: Apr 15th, 2005 Brazil prepares to join the international league community. The Brazilian interest in forming a league for 4-way competition has been there for many years. However, previous plans did not materialize. This time, the current efforts to launch the league seem to have great chances of success. Marconi Medeiros, a member of the Só Pressão Brasil Telecom 4-way team which competes in the AAA Class, contacted the NSL headquarters in June 2004 providing the initial ideas.

Did you know that Norway's national team Arcteryx moved up quietly at the Shamrock Showdown? posted: Apr 13th, 2005 Round four of the FSL Shamrock Showdown 2005 was also the meet's best round for the Norwegian national 4-way team Arcteryx. The Norwegian score of 20 points tied Belgium's national team Spa Hayabusa's result for this round. This means more to the Arcteryx members as it might indicate on the first view. (more)

The first three rounds were used to determine the handicaps for each team, the first prizes were given to the winner of round four after handicap. (more)
Did you know that the Fastrax judging call offered four different options? posted: Apr 12th, 2005 The last on-line judging quiz of yesterday's NSL News story surely was a difficult one. Once again and as difficult as it was to find the Majik infringement in round two, it required a sharp eye to detect the Fastrax infringement in round four. The low resolution and small NSL-TV screen does not make it much easier to be a good and sharp judge.
