Did you know that the Mideast Skydiving League is proud of its teams? posted: Jun 16th, 2005 The Mideast Skydiving League has become one of the strongest leagues in the country. MESL Director Randy Connell's efforts and the positive impact of the Team Fastrax project has already increased 4-way interest and participation in the MESL area. Connell and Fastrax founder John Hart have even more benefits in mind and not only for the MESL.

Did you know that the Air Force dominated at the second AA Class meet in Colorado? posted: Jun 15th, 2005 Morning came early Saturday, arriving at about the same time as the sun in the eastern sky. Although there were clouds Saturday morning, none of them were over the front range of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains. The landing area looked as if it were about a mile high.
Thus was the scene for the second installment of the AA Class meets for the Colorado Skydiving League. The meet was again held at Mile Hi Skydiving Center.
The meet had been postponed for a week to take advantage of the Skydive Arizona Skyvan that was scheduled to be on hand for a boogie, instead of using the KingAir that normally... (more)
Did you know that Italy still had a good reason to "put its mind to rest" in February 2005? posted: Jun 14th, 2005 The NSL News has recently covered the topic of international eligibility for first-category events in the Sporting Code of the Fédération Aéronautique Internationale (FAI), which involves the Italian national 4-way team, Sinapsi PD, and the team's new member in the tail position, Pete Allum.
The case was first covered and completed by the NSL News in December 2004, then picked up again with the NSL News story on June 9 and continued with the story on June 11, which included a comprehensive feedback provided by IPC President Patrice Girardin.

Did you know that 41 teams have already seen F-20-9 in a meet this year? posted: Jun 14th, 2005 The NSL News story of June 13 came along with the new videos of the Florida Skydiving League's April meet on NSL-TV. The meet videos of the Southwest Skydiving League competition on the same weekend have now been added.
The FSL story mentioned that the sequence of round five in April was identical for AAA and AA Class teams (F-20-9). It was also identical with round three of the competition draw for the March 19 weekend. This unique situation allows to compare directly between the leagues, the two competition classes and the dates. (more)
Did you know that round five of the FSL April meet was identical with round three of the SSL March meet? posted: Jun 13th, 2005 Round five of the Florida Skydiving League's April meet is now on NSL-TV. The April 16 weekend had the Southwest Skydiving League competing at the same time, and the meet videos of the SSL jumps will be added to the NSL-TV page next.

Did you know that French national coach Jerome David provided an update for the NSL News? posted: Jun 12th, 2005 The NSL News story on June 6 offered a preview of the 8-way event at this year's Malevsky Memorial Cup. The NSL News looked back at the world meets in 2003 and 2004 to see how the 8-way event may turn out next month in Russia. The top five teams of the last year's world meet in Croatia have all signed up for the Malevsky Cup 2005.
