Did you know that Round 4 of the SSL April meet brings a new judging quiz? posted: Apr 24th, 2006 Round 4 of the Southwest Skydiving League April meet has been uploaded while the scores of the Texas Skydiving League's season opener have been posted this morning. The NSL News will follow up with more information from Texas as soon as possible and is waiting for the scores from the Carolina Skydiving League's first 2006 meet last weekend.
The NSL News story of round three mentioned that Elsinore Gravity and Thunder finally broke their tied scores in the fast sequence of round three, even though both teams had completed the same number of scoring formations within working time. Faster sequences... (more)
Did you know that VRW 4-way has now been integrated into the NSL network? posted: Apr 23rd, 2006 The NSL News on March 6 mentioned that 4-way Vertical Relative Work was presented at USPA's BOD winter meeting by Eric Deren. The VRW organizer had already suggested earlier that VRW becomes a part of the NSL network, as well.
The NSL News story on March 26 followed up with new information, and the update included the scores of the first VRW competition of the 2006 season, which was a part of the Georgia Skydiving League season opener at the Roaming DZ in Dublin, Georgia. (more)
Did you know that FSC Wind Damaged has found a promising 2006 line-up? posted: Apr 22nd, 2006 Round three of the Florida Skydiving League April meet in Lake Wales brought the unusual and rare situation where the sequence of the AA/Intermediate Class is slower compared to the AAA/Open Class. Block 5 (Opal - Opal), one of the fastest blocks in the AAA/Open Class dive pool, causes a mirror imaged sequence or memory and had to be replaced for the AA/Intermediate Class draw.

Did you know that Arizona Divewerkz posted a new team record in round three? posted: Apr 21st, 2006 It becomes more and more difficult for NSL News and NSL-TV to keep up with the pace of the league. Scores, information, photos, videos keep coming in at the NSL headquarters. The coverage of a meet weekend can hardly be completed before the next meet weekend begins. And this is only the beginning of the season.
Only NSL News and NSL-TV together makes already for a full-time job, and the NSL headquarters is still only a 1-person operation. Lack of resources does not allow the NSL to hire staff. However, there are little things that can still help a lot to provide more information for the NSL... (more)
Did you know that the Malevsky Cup 2006 offers $30,000 prize money for the 4-way competition? posted: Apr 21st, 2006 The Malevsky Cup in Stupino, Russia, has been on the NSL News schedule in the last two years, and the Russian event management once again invited the NSL News to cover the high-profile 4-way competition in August 2006. The preparations have begun, and the updates will be posted on a regular basis.
