posted: Aug 25th, 2007 The scores on the current leaderboard of the UK Nationals 2007 speak their own and clear language. Team Storm dominates the AAA Class competition, and it seems quite unlikely that Team Elan will have a chance to threaten the current leader. In fact, Aardvark Zulu in still only three points behind Team Elan and could still make it difficult for the all-female line-up. There might be an option for Aardvark Zulu to possibly become the national team in the Open Class with a 2nd place this weekend if Team Storm decides to defend the British gold medals in the female category. posted: Aug 24th, 2007 The NSL News continues with the profiles of British teams that have competed this year at UK's Grand Prix events. This time, the Team Elan members provide insights of the team and its dynamics. The Elan profile comes at a critical time for the team. Three rounds have been completed at the UK Nationals 2007. The draw for the remaining seven rounds will be done and posted tonight. The NSL News story on August 21 had explained the specific rules of the competition draw for the national championship. posted: Aug 23rd, 2007 The NSL News goes back to the July meet of the California Skydiving League at Skydive Elsinore. The videos of Round 4 have now been uploaded and can be viewed on NSL-TV. The British top contender in the AAA/Open Class, the all-female Team Storm line-up, had the last serious meet test that weekend in Elsinore and improved the June average of 17.8 to 19.0 in July. Team Storm is currently three points ahead of Team Elan after three rounds at the UK Nationals 2007. Did you know that Norway's national team Arcteryx finally beat the Norgies?
posted: Aug 23rd, 2007 Norway's national 4-way team Arcteryx was probably not overly excited with the team's scores and rankings at the FAI World Cup 2007. Tore Buer (Center Inside), Ole Petter Hjelle (Tail), Ditta Valsdottir (Point), Derek Broughton (Point) and Mikjel Skurdal (Camera) may have hoped for a medal, either of the World Cup or the European Championship. At least, the plan was to stay in touch with the other top teams. The 5th place at the World Cup 2007 and 4th place at the European Championship 2007 with a 20.3 average in Russia was not only far away from any medal position. The Norwegian team also allowed... posted: Aug 22nd, 2007 Hayabusa Defence's Rounds 3 and 4 at the FAI World Cup 2007 have now been uploaded and are available on NSL-TV. The videos of the Belgian World Cup champions of 2007 come along with an update of the Fun Flag situation. It has been quiet around the Fun Flag for a long time. Did you know that Carolina Ice is ready for a new pursuit of USPA gold medals?
posted: Aug 22nd, 2007 The Carolina Skydiving League completed its 2007 season last weekend, and its two winners, Carolina Ice (AAA) and Carolina Fire (AA) are well prepared for their trip to the USPA Nationals 2007 in September. It will be the 5th time for a Carolina Ice line-up to compete at the USPA Nationals, and it will be a new attempt to win a set of USPA gold medals. The history of team goes back to its first competition season in the Carolina Skydiving League 2003. (more)
