News Article Did you know that Brian Ball is Arizona Divewerkz' new Center Inside?
posted: Feb 3rd, 2009 It was a coincidence that the NSL News had just posted an update on 30 January 2009 covering SDC Rhythm XP when other news arrived that related to the same topic. The new update came from Arizona where the NSL News has followed Arizona Divewerkz on the team's way from the first year in the Southwest Skydiving League to becoming the best "amateur team" in the USA in 2008. SDC Rhythm and Arizona Divewerkz have a few things in common. News Article Did you know that there are no changes of the dive pool in 2009?
posted: Feb 2nd, 2009 The NSL News has covered the changes of the dive pool over the years several times. The last stories related to the topic were posted on December 11 and 16 of 2008 (Archives > 2008 > News > Search for "dive pool") and mentioned that the dive pool for the 2009 season would be set at the IPC Meeting in February. The meeting in Sweden was concluded last weekend, and the details will be published soon. Attendants of the IPC Meeting kindly informed the NSL News already that the dive pool once again remains unchanged. News Article Did you know that Kaktus Hunter has higher goals for the 2009 season?
posted: Feb 1st, 2009 The NSL News reported on 7 January 2009 that the Russian team Kaktus Hunter has already signed up for the World Challenge 2009. It will be the third time that Kaktus Hunter will compete at the indoor competition at Bodyflight Bedford. Egor Gusev (Inside Center), Andrei Kharitonov (Outside Center), Katya Kharitonova (Point) and Anna Panasyuk (Tail) started out with a 16.6 average at the World Challenge 2007 and pumped the performance and scoring level up to a 22.2 average last year. News Article Did you know that a new Rhythm video shows the new lineup flying in the tunnel?
posted: Jan 30th, 2009 The NSL News reported on 5 November 2008 (Archives > 2008 > News > Search for "Rhythm") that last year's USPA 4-way champion in the Advanced Class, CSC Rhythm XP, was looking for a new Center Inside. The story on 18 December 2008 followed up on the topic and introduced the new team member, Rob Radez. The same story also mentioned that the team name had changed to SDC Rhythm XP, as Skydive Chicago has become the new home turf for Rhythm. News Article Did you know that NSL-TV filmed a live interview with Marin Ferré and recreational activities of France Maubeuge?
posted: Jan 29th, 2009 The NSL News recently covered the visit of the French national 4-way teams, France Maubeuge and Deep Blue, for a winter training camp in DeLand. Both teams accepted invitations for NSL News interviews, and the videos were posted with the stories on 15 January 2009 and 16 January 2009. The story that covered Deep Blue mentioned that national 4-way coach Marin Ferré would also visit the NSL office and discuss the training camp and other topics with the NSL News. He worked with both teams in DeLand, which completed 130 training jumps in the 2-week camp. Marin Ferré took the time for the interview... (more)
News Article Did you know that Becca's Bootie Boogie focuses on Formation Skydiving?
posted: Jan 28th, 2009 Rebecca Minkin caught the NSL News attention for the first time when she attended her first 4-way competition at the May meet of the Florida Skydiving League in Sebastian (Archives > 2008 > Leagues > Florida > Meet 3 Results). The three event stories mentioned her team, Airplay, and her own Point part in it briefly. It was the beginning of a serious addiction to Formation Skydiving competition. Becca came back for another FSL meet in 2008, the NSL Playoffs event in September at Skydive City where she competed with a different lineup.
