Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP competes at the Shamrock Showdown and the World Challenge? posted: Feb 2nd, 2010 The NSL News' last segment of the Becca's Bootie Boogie coverage features a live update of the SDC Rhythm XP activities. Rob Radez, JaNette and Steve Lefkowitz accepted the invitation of the NSL News for a quick NSL Talk session at a break between the jumps.
It turned out to be another NSL Talk with a Rhythm 3-way, as new member Thiago Muradas was not present. His team mates said that he was working hard to be ready for training hard very soon. The Rhythm training of 2010 with the new lineup is actually already in full swing.
The three Rhythm members reported that the team completed 7.5 hours... (more)

Did you know that the Speedy Kids will compete at the Shamrock Showdown 2010? posted: Jan 27th, 2010 Nick Grillet was one of the candidates for SDC Rhythm XP's tail slot at the tryout event that the NSL News covered extensively in December 2009. He did not join Rhythm, as Thiago Muradas was selected for the slot.
It did not take long though until the NSL News followed up with a story that introduced a new west coast team in Elsinore, the Speedy Kids. Nick Grillet had already found his new team for the 2010 season, as he will now be the Tail for Speedy Kids.
Elsinore BTE 2009 members Melanie Curtis (Point) and Steve Simar (Center Outside) are also Speedy Kids of 2010, Lou Ascione (Center... (more)
Did you know that Becca once again invites the bootie flyers? posted: Jan 18th, 2010 FSL competitor and Skydive Sebastian local Rebecca Minkin organizes the 2nd Annual Becca's Bootie Boogie this upcoming weekend in Sebastian, beginning on Friday. The inaugural event last year was very successful, which motivated her to continue this year.
She has once again lined up great help, as several Formation Skydiving coaches and competitors had already worked together with Beccas last year to make the event a success.
The lineup of coaches and load organizers is even more promising this year since SDC Rhythm XP has made Skydive Sebastian the team's winter home and will be available,... (more)
Did you know that Perris Fury's Chris Farina commented the Dubai action? posted: Jan 15th, 2010 Round 8 is over in Dubai, and the winner is Arizona Airspeed - at least according to the latest results of the NSL Poll. The real scores have not been posted yet.
Not much has changed ever since the poll options were reduced to Arizona Airspeed and Hayabusa Defence. In fact, the final vote (55% - 45%) somehow reflects the scores and rankings throughout the meet. Airspeed is a little bit further ahead in the poll than the real scores actually show. However, 45% for Hayabusa is also evidence that many observers expect the Belgian team to win a meet at any time now.
By the way: Airspeed's video... (more)

Fury did not have a team videographer throughout the 2009 season ever since Niklas Daniel was filming the team until the USPA Nationals 2009 and left the team at the end of the 2009 season.
The bronze medalist of the 2009 USPA National Skydiving Championships hired videographers for training and competition whenever they needed them. The video disaster in Texas eventually brought Fury back to Karen... (more)
