News Article Did you know that the Skywalkers Junior home in Most has a busy summer schedule?
posted: Dec 29th, 2023 The Czech 4-way teams concluded their 2023 season with their last scores for the Indoor Cloud League leaderboard. Eight teams took on the six different December sequences and finished with a total of 119 ICL points for the month, which brings the Czech total of the year to 1,428 points. It's not a secure position yet, as the iFLY Dallas team could still move ahead of the current Czech position on the top. Six of the eight teams on the last Czech Indoor Cloud League leaderboard of the year had also competed at the December meet of the World Tunnel League, and four of these six teams are responsible... News Article Did you know that Hurricane Factory moved closer to iFLY Dallas in September?
posted: Dec 11th, 2023 The slower summer months of the Indoor Cloud League had at least brought the teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague and at iFLY Dallas together on the same leaderboard in July, August and September. Outdoor activities and summer vacations usually slow down the indoor activities. The Czech teams and Kyle Hermberg's ICL team at iFLY Dallas had a close 4-point competition in July (142 - 138) that the NSL News covered on September 7th, which was followed by a 22-point advantage for iFLY Dallas on the August leaderboard. The 4-way competitors in Texas won five of the six ICL categories, only the... (more)
News Article Did you know that Panthers and Moravian Flyers completed 28 meet rounds in November?
posted: Dec 3rd, 2023 The Indoor Cloud League team of the Hurricane Factory Prague was once again the first one with scores and videos for the month of November, even though most of the teams and organizer Jan Klapka have very busy four weeks behind them. In fact, Jan Klapka can usually not even take advantage of the full indoor power that especially the 4-way Junior program has generated in the Czech Republic. The NSL News explained the geographic situation of the Czech 4-way teams with the Indoor Cloud League update on 29 November 2022. The Flyspot Katovice windtunnel in Poland is easier to reach for the Czech... (more)
News Article Did you know that Skydive Midwest NEXT continue unchanged?
posted: Nov 11th, 2023 The ICL Midwest Team joined the Indoor Cloud League in August 2020 and started with the highest total of the month. It was the NEXT comeback lineup (Lauren Byrd, Megan George, Chris Haslam, Greg Oldendick, Elliot Byrd on camera) that managed the indoor events after a 2-year interruption. It was an unfortunate timing for the new lineup, as the implications of the corona virus crisis made it next to impossible to run indoor and outdoor events. However, ICL Midwest and Paraclete XP managed their way through the major obstacle and posted scores and videos for each of the months in the second half... (more)
News Article Did you know that six Air Force teams were back for Indoor Cloud League action?
posted: Nov 7th, 2023 Eric Daniel and Emily Bombardi launched the Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Colorado Springs in May 2022 and posted scores and videos for six months last year. They were back with their Air Force 4-way teams and other participants after a 2-month winter break in November and December and posted new scores and videos for the early winter months of 2023. Several of the participating teams and competitors used the summer months to get ready for the USPA Nationals 2023, and they brought back USPA medals in 4-way Advanced and 8-way Intermediate to Colorado. The iFLY Colorado Springs team then resumed... (more)
News Article Did you know that 4-way juniors competed against 4-way seniors in four Indoor Cloud League categories?
posted: Nov 6th, 2023 The Indoor Cloud League teams at the Hurricane Factory and iFLY Dallas had their own remote showdown on the July leaderboard. It was in the summer time of the Czech Republic, and Jan Klapka had only 4-way juniors available, while the senior competitors spent their time mostly with outdoor activities. Only the former juniors of the Skywalkers participated in both environments. Most of the ICL competitors at iFLY Dallas were busy with their own outdoor preparations for the USPA Nationals 2023, as well. In fact, the situation in August was even closer to the national outdoor championship in the... (more)
