posted: Feb 15th, 2006 The 2006 season opener with the SSL Valentine's Meet at Skydive Arizona in Eloy is just around the corner, and the NSL News has already covered the event with two previews. The direct link to the event pages has been set on the front page, and the NSL News is ready to move the temporary office to the west coast. The competition draw will be posted Friday evening, as it has become normal procedure throughout the 2005 season. The actual event coverage will begin Saturday morning with scores, stories, pictures and hopefully a big load of new meet videos for the NSL-TV. (more)
News Article Did you know that the SSL Valentine's Meet 2006 promises exciting competition?
posted: Feb 11th, 2006 The 2006 season opener of 4-way competition is only one week away. The Valentine's Meet at Skydive Arizona has been the first competition of the new season for many years, even before the Southwest Skydiving League was founded. However, in the last years, SSL management and Skydive Arizona have worked together, and the competition in Eloy has become a part of the SSL schedule every year. The Valentine's Meet has always consisted of 4-way and 8-way competition. The event begins with six rounds of 4-way on Saturday, the 8-way competition follows on Sunday. News Article Did you know that Perris Fury completed the line-up for a busy 2006 season?
posted: Feb 2nd, 2006 The NSL News reported on September 17, 2005, (did you know) "...that Perris Fury is looking for a future world champion?" The team from Perris Valley Skydiving began early last year to look for a committed player to replace the player coaches Dan BC and Mark Kirkby in the inside center position. Team speaker Christy Frikken explained by then that Perris Fury had big plans for the 2006 season and the near future: "In 2006 we want to take it to the next level. posted: Sep 2nd, 2005 The latest scores, which are still posted on the front page, are the ones of the NSL Playoffs 2005 weekend on August 20 - 21. Several meet stories have already covered the events, and the only missing piece was the results of the NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition. The NSL News recently caught up with several stories covering the winners of the remaining NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition weekends of the regular 2005 season. posted: Aug 29th, 2005 The USPA Nationals in Perris are already in full swing. The results of the classic disciplines, Accuracy and Style, are posted, the newer Sport Accuracy competition must still be going on. Monday and Tuesday are off days in Perris. Canopy Formation competition will begin on Wednesday, the artistic events start on Thursday and are scheduled to be completed on Sunday. The whole next week belongs to Formation Skydiving competition, and 4-way kicks off the most popular part of the USPA Nationals on Monday. News Article Did you know that new NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition results come along with new SSL-TV of the same weekend?
posted: Aug 8th, 2005 The new round of NSL-TV comes along with new results of the NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition. NSL-TV has already shown the first three rounds of the Southwest Skydiving League June meet in Perris. Round three has now been replaced with the jumps of round four. The newest results of the NSL SkyVenture Orlando Competition cover the same meet weekend of June 25 - 26. It was a very busy weekend. 41 teams signed up in the AAA Class, 15 in the AA Class, 11 in the A Class, 12 teams in the Rookie Class. European teams competed in the AAA Class, A Class and Rookie Class on the same weekend. (more)
