News Article Did you know that SDC Rhythm XP brings coaching and new instructional tools not only to the Midwest teams?
posted: Jul 17th, 2014 Eight teams of the Midwest Skydiving League contributed scores to last weekend's overall leaderboard, which is now complete. At least one MWSL team competed in each of the four traditional NSL outdoor categories at Chicagoland Skydiving, and only CSC Survival Instinct had no internal MWSL competition in the AAA Class. Survival Instinct's new 2014 lineup had to look at the overall leaderboard to compare their scores for the very challenging first four rounds of last weekend's competition draw with other AAA Class teams in France and the United Kingdom. The MWSL team must have been pleased with... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Midwest Skydiving League had two winners last weekend?
posted: May 31st, 2014 The new meet weekend is in full swing, and it includes the first meet of the newly launched Southern Skydiving League. New scores and videos for the Indoor Cloud League have also been added, and the leaderboard is increasing with numbers. In the meantime, it is time for the last look at the previous meet weekend where the Rookie Class teams dominated, as the Sun Path Products NSL News reported on 29 May 2014. NCSL team Last Minute won the 1st place in the Rookie Class quite clearly, while there was much tougher competition for the top position on the AA and A Class leaderboards. All three... (more)
News Article Did you know that the Midwest Skydiving League finished the 2013 season with record participation?
posted: Sep 12th, 2013 The last meet of the Midwest Skydiving League 2013 season was also the last test for the regional teams before the USPA Nationals 2013, which will be held at the same location, Skydive Chicago. A total of 15 teams used the opportunity, ten of them in the AA/Intermediate Class, and they will soon again compete at the national championships, at least several of them. Three of the AA Class teams may either have to sit out or find substitutes for the USPA competition. AA Class winner Jetstream Tango has SDC Rhythm XP member Steve Lefkowitz as a player coach in the lineup. USPA rules do not allow... (more)
News Article Did you know that new MWSL videos feature the AA Class battle between CSC Inferno and Accelerando?
posted: Jul 27th, 2013 This weekend's events are bringing together teams from three different countries and seven different locations on the NSL leaderboard. The first scores will be posted soon, and the Sun Path Products NSL News goes back to the July 13 weekend in the meantime. Meet videos from the Midwest Skydiving League are showing four teams with some of their competition rounds, three teams in the AA Class and 55 North in the A Class. 55 North is the only MWSL team that has attended each of the three meets this year, even though there is not much direct MWSL competition in this category. However, 55 North... (more)
News Article Did you know that the SDC Rhythm XP efforts in the Midwest are showing great results?
posted: Jul 16th, 2013 The next scores from the Canadian Nationals 2013 at NouvelAir will follow later today and catch most of the recent Sun Path Products NSL News attention. However, there are still scores to come of last weekend's meet in the United Kingdom, and the Midwest Skydiving League leaderboard deserves a closer look, as well. The MWSL scores will most likely be quite competitive even when comparing them with the ones to come from the UK 4way powerhouse. Ten teams competed at the Chicagoland Skydiving Center, which ties the participation record of June 2005 for this long standing MWSL host. The decision... (more)
News Article Did you know that NADS won the Coach's Choice Award of the Midwest Skydiving League?
posted: Jul 8th, 2013 Skydive Chicago held its first MWSL meet of the 2013 season on June 22, run by this year’s new MWSL director JaNette Lefkowitz and coached by Mikhail Markine, both from SDC Rhythm XP. The event was especially noteworthy since SDC is the location of the USPA Nationals later this year. With what appears to be the biggest turnout in MWSL history, ten teams took advantage of the opportunity to get a preview of what the big meet will be like. While the official meet was six rounds, three of the teams continued to complete all ten, and a number of them exited from 10,500 feet to simulate the... (more)
