Did You Know...

... that SDC Rhythm XP and SportLotto battled for the 5th place?

Battling for the 5th place: SDC Rhythm XP
posted Apr 3rd, 2011 - The new video clip of the last round comes in a different order. The four top contenders are still at the end of the video. It still begins with two different teams next to each other this time.

The first earlier race between ISB Air and Aerodyne Deep Blue Defenders ended when the French team showed its teeth and pulled away round by round, similarly to the performance at the Shamrock Showdown 2011 where the Defenders gained momentum towards the end of the meet. ISB Air has now battled with Thunder for the last Top 10 spot.

The most exciting race at the end took place between SDC Rhythm XP and Russia's SportLotto. The new Russian team caught up with Rhythm round by round and was only one single point behind after Round 9. The new video clip features Round 10 between those two teams at the beginning.

Aerodyne Aerokart Maubeuge: Winner of the 2nd half?
The scores for Round 10 are not available yet, and the outcome of this race is still open. Fact is that NMP-PCH Hayabusa won the meet and that Arizona Airspeed suffered the first defeat. Fact is also Aerodyne Aerokart Maubeuge has not won a meet yet with the new lineup. The NSL News has scheduled a meeting for a NSL Talk with the three French coaches for later today where the current situation will be discussed.

It looks far from hopeless for the French national team. Another fact is that France has won the second day of the competition, at least after Round 9 and probably also after Round 10. Aerodyne Aerokart Maubeuge was four points up on Hayabusa beginning at Round 6 and through Round 9 and three points better than Airspeed. The scores of Round 10 will not change much of that.

The French team lost the meet with the fast sequence of random formations in Round 3 and could never recover enough, just as it happened to Airspeed at the World Challenge 2010. The scores of Round 10 will be posted as soon as possible.
