Did You Know...

... that Kazakhstan scored the first 8-way point?

USA and France get ready for Round 3
posted Aug 2nd, 2010 - The scores of Round 2 in 8-way brought the evidence that Kazakhstan has an 8-way team in the competition at the World Championship of Formation Skydiving 2010.

The team that registered at the last minute in Menzelinsk, together with the Norwegian team, has the first scoring point on the leaderboard.

The Russian Barkli 8-way team came back with a great round and tied the French 19-pointer. Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge had 20 points in working time, but the first formation after the exit was not accepted by the judges.

Norway lost three points in Round 2. The 8-way teams are going up for Round 3.

Russia lost two points in Round 1

The 8-way competition is now in full swing. The NSL-TV camera captured the videos of Round 1, and the quality is better now. It is still captured by filming the screen, but it is a better TV and provides better pictures.

Kazakhstan is competing in 8-way, even if it may look different on the leaderboard due to the zero in Round 1. It was a real zero, as the team never completed a formation.

The race between the three 8-way giants is on, and France had the best start. Russia lost two points due to penalties, while Aerodyne Cypres Maubeuge's 8-way lineup and the Golden Knights had clean jumps. The Golden Knights flow was interrupted once by a brainlock, a collision during Block 21 slowed down the French team. Round 2 is under judges' eyes.
