The first NSL TV Unfiltered video was recorded on Sunday at Skydive Perris, where the first USPA Nationals since 2017 are taking place. Arizona Airspeed won the 4-way Open Class gold medals in 2017, while guest team NMP PCH HayaBusa topped the same leaderboard. It was also the year when the complete HayaBusa lineup—Andy
Grauwels, David Grauwels, Jeroen Nollet, Dennis Praet, and Luc Van Britsom on camera—competed in 8-way with Fly-In Machine 44 and finished in 2nd place behind the Golden Knights.
Arizona Airspeed and the Golden Knights won the qualification spots for the next outdoor world championship at Australia 2018, where the U.S. Army team won the 8-way gold medals. Meanwhile, Arizona Airspeed erased the 12-point deficit from Perris (270–258) in a two-point thriller at Gold Coast 2018. This year's USPA Nationals will qualify four teams in each of the three horizontal formation skydiving categories for the next FAI Outdoor World Cup in Brazil in 2027.

Arizona Airspeed's Odyssey lineup reunited in 2017, and Ranch 2nd Generation, featuring current Airspeed members Michelle Karamon and Joey Marshall, won USPA's 4-way Advanced Class gold medals with a 16.4 average. Vega XP, featuring current Paraclete XP8 member James Hall, won the 4-way Intermediate Class competition among 37 teams with a 14.0 average. Arizona Airspeed's current lineup—Michelle Karamon, Joey Marshall, Alisson de Vargas, Doug Hendrix, and Alex Swindle on camera—will try to win their first USPA gold
medals in 4-way Open. They will first have to defeat the Golden Knights, who will represent the U.S. delegation next month in Eloy.
Other former Airspeed members will celebrate another alumni reunion this week. Original Airspeed member Jack Jefferies joins forces with Craig Girard (1999–2010), Brian Johnson (2006), and Matt Davidson (2019), with Taylor Buffington on camera (2020–2021). Jack Jefferies' original teammate Kirk Verner will guide an Advanced Class team as player-coach, while Dan BC is helping to run the event on his home turf. He also plans to compete at the same time. Original Airspeed member Mark Kirkby is cheering from home for the team he has coached over the past few months, Ranch TNT SDAZ.
