posted Aug 4th, 2026 - It came as no surprise that Kyle Hermberg's Indoor Cloud League team at iFLY Dallas once again outscored Jan Klapka's Czech 4-way teams at the Hurricane Factory Prague in June. The NSL News reported on July 5th that the Czech ICL organizer is missing many of the senior 4-way competitors during the summer, when they focus on outdoor training and competition. The challenge increases even further once the junior competitors leave for their school summer vacation.

Kyle Hermberg has built a consistent and reliable 4-way indoor community at iFLY Dallas, where participants attend his events throughout the year. Indoor training remains just as productive and efficient during the summer as it is in the winter. Only the world's top teams tend to separate their indoor and outdoor training as the outdoor competition season approaches.

Kyle Hermberg has always used ICL events to introduce new competitors to 4-way formation skydiving, and indoor training provides the ideal environment to teach the fundamentals of the discipline. The Indoor Cloud League format also includes two additional Rookie Class categories (R and RR), where assistant coaches Lucas King and Michael Erickson guided newcomer Oziel Carrillo through his first two competition sequences this time.

Lucas King and Michael Erickson also joined forces with Alexa Maydew and Christina Cooper to post a 21-point score for the AAA sequence. Kyle Hermberg and Spaceland Dallas Pajama Party videographer Nick Anderson then teamed up with Alexa Maydew and Christina Cooper to perform the AA sequence.

The iFLY Dallas team reduced the gap to Hurricane Factory by 50 points in June (122 - 72), leaving a deficit of only 47 points at the halfway mark of the year. Jan Klapka will probably be without the high-scoring Skywalkers Most lineup for a few more months due to preparations for the upcoming FAI Outdoor World Championship 2026. That could give Kyle Hermberg another opportunity to set up an exciting finish in December. At the end of the 2025 season, iFLY Dallas and Hurricane Factory were separated by only 14 points (1456 - 1442).

Kyle Hermberg's iFLY Dallas team won the second time in 2025, three years after claiming his previous win in 2022. iFLY Dallas is now the defending ICL champion, and Jan Klapka will likely try to bring Skywalkers Most back into the Hurricane Factory flying chamber as soon as possible. However, the Czech outdoor championship is scheduled for the end of the month and may again take priority for the country's senior 4-way competitors.
