Did You Know...

... that Hungary's Bronteroc are back in FAI indoor action?

Double Trouble from Slovakia
posted Mar 15th, 2026 - Teams from Slovakia have been posting scores for years at the regular indoor competitions of the Czech Tunnel League, especially after the Hurricane Factory Tatralandia in Slovakia committed to host the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023. Kiss My Grips represented the host nation in the 4-way Women category, while SDU GenZ competed in the 4-way Junior duel with the Czech team HF Flying Rebels.

The Slovak 4-way junior team had originally planned to participate only in the indoor world championship. Kiss My Grips disbanded at the end of the 2024/2025 indoor season, after team member Ivica Just had also formed a second team with a family lineup, Das Nächste Fenster (Ivica and Jozef Just, Boris and Richard Kolozsi).

Ivica Just's former teammate Veronika Kontarova then joined her again to launch Double Trouble for the 2025/2026 indoor season, with Jozef Just returning alongside his wife and Stanislav Bilacic completing the lineup. The new team has participated in four meets of the Czech Tunnel League since November 2025, all of them in the AAA Class, and also traveled to Spain for the Wind Games 2026. At the end of last year, Jozef Just informed the NSL News that Slovakia's governing organization was planning a 4-way competition, the Open Slovak Championship 2026, at the Hurricane Factory Tatralandia. The event took place last month.

Bronteroc - Double Trouble at the Slovak Open 2026
Bronteroc at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023
Double Trouble joined the other three A Class teams on the same leaderboard, while six teams used the Rookie Class competition sequences for their first events. The AAA Class leaderboard featured Bronteroc from Hungary, who returned with the same family lineup that the NSL News had introduced on 19 April 2022.

Gabor Kiss, Jozsef Kiss, Gabor Verebes and Hanga Verebes-Keri attended the FAI Indoor World Cup 2022 in Belgium and followed up a year later by representing Hungary at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2023.

Two quiet years followed Bronteroc’s two appearances at the international FAI/ISC events until the Hurricane Factory Tatralandia decided to host a new competition last month. Bronteroc once again traveled to the neighboring country after their previous visit in 2023 and performed the ten AAA Class sequences on their own. However, Bronteroc are registered for the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026 next month, and they were warming up this weekend at Germany's national indoor championship in Munich. The NSL News will follow up with the results from Germany very soon.
