Did You Know...

... that Czech Sharks and Helikopters join forces in the new HeliSharks?

4-way Junior team Panthers
posted Mar 16th, 2026 - Round 1 of the FAI Indoor World Cup 2026 is not far away, and the participating teams are working to complete their indoor training plans as effectively as possible. In addition, several competition practice opportunities are available. The NSL News recently covered the Bronteroc trip to Slovakia, while the Hungarian team’s planned visit to the German Indoor Championships did not materialize.

The Czech 4-way teams did not host any visiting teams at the Hurricane Factory in Prague this month, and the two teams planning to compete at the April event in Weembi Lille have still not performed yet their most recent ten-round meet practice. Skywalkers Most and Panthers will travel to France next month and will get their final competition practice at the upcoming April meet of the Czech Tunnel League.

The indoor world cup will be the first FAI/ISC event for the Panthers. Members of Skywalkers previously gained international FAI/ISC experience with HF Flying Rebels and HF Chameleons, after the 4-way Junior event was introduced at the indoor world championships and world cups. However, the 4-way Junior category has not been continued by FAI/ISC in recent years. As a result, the Panthers will compete against senior teams in the 4-way Open Class leaderboard at the upcoming indoor world cup in Weembi Lille, including Skywalkers Most. Skywalkers Most and Jan Klapka will have valuable information and experience to share with the Panthers.

Sharks joining forces soon with Helikopters
Skywalkers Most member Filip Lukavec has already been assisting Jan Klapka with the junior teams Fenix and HeliSharks. Both teams competed earlier this month alongside the senior team TNT, and the youngest Czech 4-way team finished only a few points behind with a new team record average. The Helikopters, however, were out of reach for the two other A Class teams.

Changes are now coming for the Helikopters, whose team name will change to HeliSharks. Members of Sharks and Helikopters are joining forces (Bara Peskova, David Brabec, Dan Gabla, Stepan Liehmann, Filip Rahbani) to form the new 4-way junior lineup. The Sharks had already progressed from the Rookie Class in 2021/2022 and 2022/2023 to the A Class in 2023/2024. One year later, they advanced to the AA Class and then made the move to AAA at the start of the current winter season in November 2025.

The Helikopters moved quickly as well, jumping from the Rookie Class in 2022/2023 to AA in 2023/2024 and to AAA a year later. Following lineup changes, they stepped back to the A Class in November last year, shortly before the merger with the Sharks. HeliSharks will most likely complete the 2025/2026 season in the same category and may then skip AA to return to the full dive pool that the Sharks have already trained and competed in. The 17.3 average achieved across the ten A Class sequences by HeliSharks was the highest meet average recorded by any member of the new lineup.
