Did You Know...

... that Ranch TNT won the 4-way Women qualification?

XP Angels at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025
posted Nov 6th, 2025 - The 4-way Open Class competition of the USPA Nationals 2025 included once again the qualification for the next outdoor world championship in 4-way Women, as well. The NSL News had covered the previous U.S. qualification in the same FAI/ISC category for the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025 comprehensively.

The difference between the two qualification events is the fact that countries may send up to four teams in each event to world cups, while only one national team is eligible to compete at world championships. The U.S. delegation for this year's world cup in Teuge, Netherlands, included XP Angels and Perris 4ever who both qualified in the 4-way Open Class competition of the USPA Nationals 2025. XP Angels then traveled to the Netherlands and won bronze medals behind Nephtys Maubeuge (France) and Thyra (Norway).

The NSL News followed up when XP Angels decided that they wanted more and compete at the next world championship in October 2026 at Skydive Arizona. They continued with the same lineup and coach Jeana Billings and had September and October to get ready for the next qualification in 4-way Women at the USPA Nationals. There was no information available after the outdoor world cup that other U.S. 4-way Women teams would compete at Skydive Arizona, which would mean the automatic qualification for XP Angels.

Ranch TNT - XP Angels at the USPA Nationals 2025
Kim Hollander with Bra Nok at the FAI Outdoor World Cup 2025
XP Angels still continued with their intensive training efforts and eventually lifted their 10.8 average at the outdoor world cup to the 11.7 in Eloy last month. However, there was a surprise visitor on the 4-way Open Class leaderboard, who had spread little information of their participation at the USPA Nationals.

Ranch TNT (Kim Hollander, Jennifer Cook, Erin Lewis, Angie Scoggins, Zach Lewis on camera) registered the team late and had not signed up officially for the competition when the NSL News posted the latest NSL Power Rankings on October 23rd. Registration for USPA Nationals is traditionally open until the last day before the competition begins.

Ranch TNT had trained with coach Niklas Hemlin throughout the summer season and had completed over 150 training jumps when they arrived at Skydive Arizona. Kim Hollander and her 4-way team went back to the place where she had started her 4-way career with Billy's Beauties in 2006, the Blue Sky Ranch in New York State. Ranch TNT were well prepared for the expected duel with XP Angels, after training under the supervision of Niklas Hemlin. XP Angels did not really have much of a chance to keep up with the unexpected opponent. Ranch TNT allowed them only to tie the very last round after winning all previous nine rounds.

U.S. 4-way Women team for 2026: Ranch TNT
Kim Hollander had the opportunity to observe XP Angels at the outdoor world cup in Teuge, where she competed with Bra Nok XP in 8-way Open. She probably knew that her team's opponent at the USPA Nationals would not have enough time to lift their performance level from the scores in the Netherlands to the Ranch TNT standards that she was well aware of.

Ranch TNT actually outscored two other 4-way Open Class teams at the USPA Nationals, where XP Angels ended up at the bottom of the same leaderboard. Ranch TNT would have won the USPA Advanced Class gold medals, as the combined AAA leaderboard is showing. However, the qualification in 4-way Women for the next world championship was obviously more important than the Advanced Class gold medals. XP Angels would have finished in 6th place on the Advanced Class leaderboard. Both 4-way Women teams would have been eligible for the USPA Advanced Class.

Ranch TNT will now represent the U.S. delegation at the next outdoor world championship at the same place in October 2026, together with coach Niklas Hemlin, who will try to guide the Golden Knights to the gold medals in 4-way Open. The title defence in 4-way Women, where XPG4 won the FAI gold medals for the U.S. delegation at Crystal Coast 2024, will be even more challenging for coach Niklas Hemlin if 4-way Women teams from France and China visit the United States again next year. However, at least the bronze medal position in 4-way Women could probably be in reach for Ranch TNT.
