posted Apr 2nd, 2025 - The 4-way teams who participate in the events of the Flyspot Liga in Poland had the whole month of March this time to perform the sequences of the ten rounds. The monthly competition draw for indoor teams was created and introduced by the National Skydiving League 4-way Network for more competition practice when the corona virus crisis was making it very difficult to run events where people gathered at the same places at the same time.

The National Skydiving League has synchronized events and competition draws since 2003 when the dates coincided to match each other. There used to be a new competition draw every week, as the participation was on a significantly higher level in 4-way competition. The corona virus crisis exposed the decreasing participation in formation skydiving competition dramatically, and the extended time frame to perform the ten rounds and submit scores and videos was supposed to make it easier and end up on the combined monthly leaderboards.

It turned out that it made it probably too easy to participate in such remote events, as the format was continued by the World Tunnel League and copied by other hosts to be applied in the same or similar ways. Poland's Flyspot Liga is one of the event organizers who copied and then continued to apply the same format. A total of 13 teams used the competition draw of the Flyspot Liga for the month of March (3rd - 31st) to get their scores posted on the leaderboard with three of the four NSL categories (AAA - AA - RRR).

Magic 4 - Flyspot Sky4Four - Panthers at the March meet of the Flyspot Liga

The AAA Class competition featured three teams from Poland and two different neighboring countries, Magic 4 from Lithuania, and Panthers from the Czech Republic. Flyspot's Sky4Four home team tried to defend the Polish air in the different Flyspot flying chambers.

Sky4Four have represented Poland as the country's national 4-way team for many years, and Magic 4 have done the same for Lithuania. They even competed with and against each other at the FAI Indoor World Championship 2019. The Sky4Four lineup of 2019 finished far ahead of Magic 4 at Weembi Lille (231 - 146), and both teams have continued, Magic 4 with the same lineup, Sky4Four with several changes.

The Lithuanian team has now consistently posted 20+ averages in the six meets that they attended in the last 12 months, while Sky4Four keep working to get back to their own 20+ averages with the newest and current lineup. Magic 4 kept the upper hand once again last month. Unfortunately, neither of the two teams will attend the FAI Indoor World Championship 2025. The Czech Republic will be represented at Paraclete XP next week, and it will not be the Panthers who competed with Magic 4 and Sky4Four in Poland. The Panthers are the next generation of Czech 4-way juniors who will try to copy Skywalkers Junior, who travel to North Carolina for the Czech Republic this weekend to challenge the best 4-way teams in the world.
