Did You Know...

... that Sebastian XL videographer Rob Stevenson was back in 4-way action?

posted Apr 28th, 2024 - The NSL News reported on April 18th that two teams from Florida would soon have a rematch after the Shamrock Showdown 2024, where AirGo and Waitin' On A Woman ended up tied on the A Class leaderboard, and the team from Skydive Palatka won the $200 cash prize with the highest score in Round 6.

The rematch took place at Skydive Sebastian earlier this month. Both teams were back with the same lineups, Waitin' On A Woman on the same scoring level, while AirGo increased their performance from 4.4 in March to 6.0 in Sebastian and won the rematch.

Teams from Texas were ready to launch their season with Skydive Sebastianthe same competition draw on the same weekend. However, Texas Skydiving League Director Scott Latinis reported from San Marcos that bad weather did not allow any competition rounds on the meet weekend. The teams in Florida still had competition in both categories and the rematch in the A Class.

Former CitiZens USPA Beginner Class champion Albert Etienne's family team (mother Kim, daughters Rebekah and Hannah) had to change their lineup for the 2024 season, as Kim Etienne recovers from injury. New 4-way competitor Jason King joined the team shortly before the Shamrock Showdown and committed to the AirGo slot for the whole 2024 season, including the USPA Nationals 2024, together with videographer Justin Bender.

The second duel took place on the AA Class leaderboard between two teams who had not competed before with their lineups. However, Brain Locksmiths consisted of trained 4-way competitors, with the complete center of the 4Action lineup. Outside center Jake Perlman and inside center Felipe Della Giustina provided a solid foundation for tail Joanne McLachlan and point Eva Chamard.

Eva Chamard knows the front piece from her time with Spicy Meatballs and 4-Eva, and she was not far from a medal position at the USPA Nationals 2023 with SDD Brane Damage. Joanne McLachlan trains consistently with iFLY Fort Lauderdale's Indoor Cloud League team and is currently a member of 4-way team Volaticus.

In fact, Joanne McLachlan had her Volaticus team mate Andrew Vladelshchikov opposing her on the AA Class leaderboard in Sebastian. He competed for Chasin' Tail, together with original 4Action member at the Shamrock Showdown 2023, Mandy Echevarria. It became even better for Brain Locksmiths when Rob Stevenson agreed to film the team for the competition. He has been one of the most experienced 4-way videographers in the world since filming British national 4-way team Sebastian XL for several years, including two outdoor world championships.
