... that NMP PCH HayaBusa evaluated Shamrock performance and PAC 750XL experiences?

Arizona Airspeed exit training from the PAC mockup
posted Mar 13th, 2023 - Arizona Airspeed, NMP PCH HayaBusa and the French national team were not done after completing the ten rounds at the Shamrock Showdown 2023. The NSL News mentioned earlier that the three national teams were planning to use Skydive DeLand's PAC 750XL jump plane on Sunday for their first exit training for the next outdoor world championship in Israel 2024.

All three teams were back to Skydive DeLand on Sunday morning to add as many training jumps as possible to their team logbooks from a lower altitude (6,000 feet). The latest NSL-TV Unfiltered video clip features the three teams with one of their back-to-back turnarounds.

NMP PCH HayaBusa still had enough time after Shamrock Showdown and PAC training for a new NSL Live Talk conversation with the complete lineup. The Belgian national team returned to Skydive City at the end of the day for a few more days of outdoor training.

Dennis Praet explained during the conversation that HayaBusa will switch to indoor training as soon as they are back in Belgium. The indoor world championship is next on the HayaBusa agenda, and they will direct all attention to the very different environment, where exits from jump planes and sub-terminal airspeed do not matter.

The conversation began with a review of the HayaBusa performance at the Shamrock Showdown before it turned to the second main topic, which was the exits from the PAC 750XL, the jump plane for the 4-way events in Israel 2024.

The review of the Shamrock Showdown confirmed observations by other 4-way experts in DeLand, who saw two different parts of the HayaBusa performance in DeLand. Dennis Praet called the ten rounds at the outdoor world championship in Eloy 2022 a "crash course for this new team", while the Shamrock Showdown was defining the current status in the development of the new plan for the next outdoor world meet.

NMP PCH HayaBusa realized in the early rounds of the Shamrock Showdown, especially after Round 2, that the approach to the competition was too conservative, as Jeroen "Bob" Nollet explained. The Belgians were ten points behind Arizona Airspeed, seven points behind France after Round 2.

They discussed the results after the first two rounds and changed the energy input. The distance to Airspeed became reasonable, with one more heavy loss in Round 4. Hayabusa were also 11 points behind France after Round 4 and before the change of the approach. Then they won the total of the remaining six rounds by four points over France. The remainder of the conversation was dedicated to the PAC 750XL exits, and HayaBusa provided some insights after their first experiences with the new exit door.
