Did You Know...

... that Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team had record participation in June?

Air Raid XP at Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League event
posted Jul 6th, 2022 - The scores and videos of Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team complete the leaderboard for the month of June. ICL organizer and XPG4 member Brenn Richards reported that the June event had the biggest turnout of the 2022 season: "We had the pleasure of flying with many of the big-way participants who were around for the weekend and attempted to break the current NC state record."

Paraclete XP has the very convenient combination of the 16-foot flying chamber and the Skydive Paraclete XP drop zone just a few miles away in Raeford. Teams and competitors can easily switch from one facility to the other if weather or training plans favor either option.

The complete XPG4 lineup is primarily in the middle of their outdoor preparations for USPA Nationals in September and FAI World Meet in October. However, they still turn to indoor team training if the weather requires the change of plans and when Indoor Cloud League events and indoor coaching are on the agenda.

All four members were present as player-coaches at the June event of the Indoor Cloud League, and XPG4 took care of the June sequences for the AAA and AA categories, as well.

RR Class highscore: Brenn Richard's ICL lineup
XPG4 were not the only complete 4-way team at the June event. Air Raid XP was the second team that posted scores for Paraclete XP's Indoor Cloud League team, and their team coach Jeana Billings was present to help them to the 18-pointer for the A Class sequence.

In fact, Jeana Billings put some pressure on Air Raid XP, as she was also guiding a lineup with three other ICL participants to a 16-pointer for the same sequence.

Two more lineups, both with XPG4 player-coaches (Michelle Karamon, Brenn Richards), performed the same A Class sequence, as well, and Air Raid XP came out of this internal A Class competition with the highest score.

Three of the same four lineups, including Air Raid XP, also took on the more challenging AA Class sequence, which could be drawn for an Intermediate Class sequence at U.S. indoor and outdoor championships, as well.

Air Raid XP finished with the highest score of the three teams in this category too, while XPG4 scored for Paraclete XP's ICL team with their 19-pointer. Jeana Billings finally added the 14-pointer highscore for the R Class sequence with her lineup, as well.

Indoor Cloud League June 2022 - All Highscores
XPG4 member Anna Brunner with her Rookie Class lineup
The three Indoor Cloud League teams with a flawless participation record for this year were closer to each other in June than at any other month of the 2022 ICL season. Only five points separated Paraclete XP in 3rd place from the June winner, Kyle Hermberg's iFLY Dallas team, and the Hurricane Factory placed 2nd just two points behind (111 - 109 - 106).

All three ICL teams shared the six highscores all across the June leaderboard, while the new ICL team from iFLY Colorado Springs is collecting their first experiences with Indoor Cloud League competition.

The annual 2022 leaderboard is showing that the iFLY Dallas team won their first month with the highscores in all three Rookie Class categories (RRR - RR - R). XPG4 seniors and HF Chameleons juniors tied their total for both Open Class sequences (AAA - AA: 40 - 40), and the Czech all-female Rusalky juniors outscored Air Raid XP by one point for the A Class highscore.

The July sequences have been posted since the first day of the month, and the leaderboard is open for all participating teams, and for new Indoor Cloud League teams and competitors at any time, as well.
